Chapter 618 – LIXX’s Wicked Plans

Jasmine was instantly satisfied the moment her mother said she got something for her, and Jia Li couldn't stop laughing while watching her excited little one.

By the time Fu Hua had come back, Jasmine had already eaten a lot of goodies, and her little mouth was still not tired.

At night the family of three spent the night together just like Jia Li wanted. Jasmine stayed in her mother's bosom, and so Fu Hua didn't even get to hug his wife.

"It looks like she did miss you a lot." Fu Hua said in a low tone with his gaze on his little girl who was sleeping calmly.

Glancing at Jasmine who was holding her clothing, Jia Li smiled before looking up and saying to him, "She is still a baby and she missed me this much, even holding unto my clothing so I wouldn't leave. Now coming to you an adult, you also miss me as much as Jasmine right?"

"Why not? I think I missed you more. The reason I'm being so calm is that I have more tolerance and patience than that little girl." Fu Hua pointed out.

Jia Li chuckled heartily while being careful not to wake the sleeping girl laying on her chest.

Even with Jasmine sleeping in their midst, Jia Li and Fu Hua didn't fail to chat harmoniously until they decided to sleep.

"Are you sure you don't need a day off to get over your jet lag?" Fu Hua asked.

"No, I'm fine, I feel so energetic and ready to do some useful work." Jia Li said with a beautiful smile on her face.

Fu Hua's lips arched and formed a brilliant smile. "That's okay. The board of directors approved you working with FJ, and I have already hosted the first meeting with the heads of department to create awareness, so all that is left is for you to share your plans with them so that work can commence immediately."

"Thank you for making this work for me." Jia Li said with a grateful smile as she stretched out her hand to him.

Fu Hua squeezed her palm, looked her in the eye gently, and said, "You did for yourself, I only helped to project your plans. You have long won over a place in our hearts with your creativity before you joined us."

Jia Li felt proud of herself. Now, she can proudly put her head up high, because Fu Hua didn't buy a place for her, she earned it herself.

The next day, Jia Li returned to work and shared some of the chocolates and little souvenirs she bought for her coworkers and direct bosses, which made them happy.

Jia Li spent a little more time in Sunny's office as they talked about her concept for her brand.

On Wednesday, LIXX 'owner' accepted an interview from a popular interviewer, to which Alix instructed to.

From the first day, LIXX started creating an awareness till today, their promotion and attention had showed immense growth. This was not hard since Alix has not been sleeping on it. She was using all her resources to make her brand popular.

She made sure to buy enough billboards for advertis.e.m.e.nt and screen time on TV, even the radio was not left out.

Also on social media, she bought some ads for promoting her products. Plus the influencers that were paid to help promote her products. She has really spent a lot of money, now, she could sit and fold her arms while everyone antic.i.p.ated her product launching date which was this week's Sat.u.r.day evening.

Since gaining awareness and a little popularity, a few people have tried to get LIXX's owner to grace their shows and interview before their product launching.

Alix didn't want to make her company too common by accepting just anybody, so she only asked her representative to accept the one she picked for her.

"… after our product launching, we will accept more interviews," Alix said.

Something happened during the interview. LIXX 'owner' who was set up by Alix followed all of Alix's instructions during the interview.

When asked if it was difficult to reach the number of audience for their new product promotion, she said yes.

Next, the interviewer asked her to share some of the difficulties their company faced to get that done.

"It has been a difficult journey even though we had the money. But being a new company, we were bound to go through a difficult path before we can enter the market. We sent out invitations to the famous Fu sisters to be our brand amba.s.sador, but we were turned down."

"You were turned down?" The interviewer asked.

"Yes," The woman replied.

The interview asked for the details. "Can you tell why you were turned down?"

"Sure…" The woman replied with a slight smile. Why wouldn't she agree to tell what happened, when it was what Alix wanted to be shared? This was one of their goals for accepting this interview.

"Miss Fu FangSu said she had a tight schedule and wasn't going to accept any more work. We absolutely had no problem with her, because it was her choice to take a break and not accept any work, but what was disturbing and insulting, was Miss Fu Meixu's response to us. She said she would not accept to work for any company that has no foothold in the market."

The interviewer looked surprised as he asked, "Are you sure about that? Wasn't her agency supposed to be the one to give you a response?"

The woman smiled and said, "The representative we sent to her agency brought back the news. Her manager had reported her response to the agency director while she was still in his office."

"So, you representative was present?" The interviewer asked.

"Yes, she was. We were hurt by her response, and also her agency's response after that. The director gave us a reply saying that truly, Miss Fu Meixu was so high fetched for us to use her for our ads and recommended their rising models to us."

"Her agency said that?" The interviewer asked.

"Yes.. I think he was trying to smoother things after her rude rejection, but he made matters worse."
