That same day, LIXX released a statement declaring herself bankrupt. This was so that it can be acquired by interested investors, and the money gotten from it was used to pay up their debts.

In the following days, LIXX as a company apologized to Meixu and her agency for tarnis.h.i.+ng their image and using her to gain attention.

LIXX apologized but Alix refused to apologize to anyone. All the money Alix got from selling her company, she used to settle all her debts and the lawsuits awaiting her.

The money gotten from selling her company wasn't enough because she made a 75% loss. She used 100% funds to start up her company but only got 25% after selling it off, which made her make a 75% loss.

LIXX sold some equipment in their factory before selling the rest to the same person that bought their company, still, the money realized was not enough to settle Alix's debts.

This matter drove Alix mad, and she had no choice but to call her husband to make a deal with him. She said she was willing to give up her shares in his company in exchange for the money to take care of her debts, and also for him to take care of her and her son as well.

This was the last resort for Alix and fortunately for her, it had worked. But the problem is that the money realized from the shares she sold back to her husband, was worth only 50% of that particular shares.

Given her current situation, Alix had no qualms, and willingly accepted it even though she was p.i.s.sed!

She was exchanging the last symbol of power and authority she had, just to settle the debts she acc.u.mulated in China.

Alix was silently praying for a comeback, so she would kill Fu Hua off. She promised not to be softhearted anymore.

Before leaving the country, Alix sold all her properties and the money she got from it, she added it to the one she already had to settle her bills.

Leaving the country in disgrace, Alix swore to make a comeback in the most horrible way ever known and heard.

When Fu Hua heard from one of his subordinates that she had boarded her flight, he gave the signal to release her dirty materials to her husband and his family, and also in China.

Now everyone was aware that Alix had an affair, and has been doing that with her lawyer. The inky person that got the whole clue was Mr. Suarez because Fu Hua made sure to send him the exclusive contents.

All this evidence questioned the paternity of the child Alix claimed to have borne for him. Mr. Suarez who was willing to welcome Alix back (Although he already had plans to deal with her for causing trouble and causing the worth of his company shares to drop) was so angry that he was c.o.c.k-hold and made to take up the responsibility of a child that might not belong to him.

Mr. Suarez suffered from a mild heart attack, but he has rescued thanks to the presence of his family who called his doctor immediately while on Alix's matter.

When he regained consciousness, Mr. Suarez asked for Carlos to be brought to him, but his son said that Carlos had already been taken care of.

While he was out, his family had sent their bodyguards to bring Carlos to their Villa. Carlos was interrogated and he confessed to having had an affair with Alix on numerous occasions. As for the child, he denied being the father.

After Mr. Suarez heard of his lawyer's confession to sleeping with his wife, he almost suffered another heart attack.

"Father, please calm down because of your health!" His daughter said with a worried gaze.

"Calm down, how can I calm down?! Send some people to go to the airport to bring Alix. Take the child from her and take him to the hospital for the paternity test, and one if you must monitor the test being done. As for Alix, put her in the dungeon, no food or water should be given to her. Once it has been proven that the child doesn't belong to me, hand her over to the police!"

Once Mr. Suarez's verdict was given, it was carried out immediately.

Alix who was still unaware of the news spreading about her, couldn't wait to get off the plane, and once she did, she met with the familiar faces of the men working for the Suarez family.

They didn't treat her respectfully, and she was also separated from her child.

The bodyguards took the nanny and the child from her side and out them a different car. Alix was angry and questioned them, "Who dare you take my child away without my permission?!"

"It was Sir's order, please come with us!" One of the bodyguards said.

Alix thought that since she was going back to the house anyway, she was going to confront Mr. Suarez, so she kept quiet and entered the car they pointed out for her.

While on their way, Alix was thinking if Mr. Suarez had plans of taking her child from her. When she arrived at this thought, she looked angry and swore that she would drag him to court if he tries to chase her away from his family and take her child from her.

On getting to the Suarez villa, Alix got off and wanted to immediately go to find Mr. Suarez, but the treatment she received was far-fetched from what she imagined.

She received two heavy slaps from Mr. Suarez's first daughter who didn't give her a chance to enter the house, before she asked the bodyguards behind her, to take her away and lock her up in the dungeon.

"… don't give her any food or water!" She reminded them.

Alix questioned her and asked what right she had to treat her that way. She also demanded to see her child and Mr. Suarez, but she was immediately dragged away.

Three days later, the result for the paternity test came out, and it proved that Mr. Suarez had no biological relations.h.i.+p with Alix's child, but instead, Carlos did!

Carlos was shocked to the core and wanted to deny it, but the evidence was clear before him, and this got him thinking back to the time he first slept with Alix after she got married to Mr. Suarez.

Carlos just learned that Alix had deceived her. He really wanted to break her neck, but sadly, he didn't even get to see her ever again.

Alix committed suicide when the evidence was brought before her, and the police came to arrest her. Even till the last moment, Alix kept her pride. She refused to go to the station knowing that there would never be a way out for her.

As for the child, he was sent to the orphanage to be looked after, till Carlos came out of his 5 years prison sentence to claim him.
