”Are you proud of your express adultery?” Fu Juan asked with a distorted gaze. She felt like disarranging the face of the man standing before her.

”Yes, it feels good to do that and you can’t do anything about it.” Her husband replied with a proud gaze.

His response was able to make any self-controlled person commit murder, and Fu Juan who already had an issue more or less, couldn’t take it.

It took her hurting herself by clenching her fist tightly, to not pick up a shred of gla.s.s from the floor and stab him with it.

”Good! Now watch me not give you divorce so you can not give that woman and her children a better name and status, let’s see what you can do about it. I will never give you a divorce!” Fu Juan declared.

She looked more determined now. She didn’t care if her husband had another woman outside and two children with her. There was no way she was going to give him a divorce so he can go enjoy the family he created while legally being married to her.

She would be doing him a favor if she signed that divorce paper, and there is no way she would want to give him that peace. If he wanted to take in more women and have more children, he was free to do that, but there was no way she would give him what he wanted.

No matter what, he would never dare to bring that woman and her children into their house.

”If you don’t sign the divorce papers, I will sue you and drag your entire family into the mess!” Her husband threatened. He really was p.i.s.sed off with her att.i.tude and confidence.

Fu Juan scoffed and leaned in close to say, “Who do you think you are to threaten me? You should be the one afraid of what I can do with the pieces of evidence of your obvious adultery. If you deny the woman and the children, a DNA test will be done to prove you wrong. Don’t get all hyper about your insignificant confidence!”

”Am I the only reason things went south in this sham of a marriage? Don’t you know what you did wrong? Your family should really see your true colors and know that I am not totally to blame for this!” Her husband said and walked away.

Fu Juan scoffed and stood there and waited till her husband got dressed and walked out again.

”I think you would be careful of flaunting your second family so as not to be caught in Adultery by the public.” Fu Juan reminded in a taunted tone.

Her husband stopped in his steps and turned to glace at her, “Maybe it will be good to be caught by them, than being tied to you in marriage!”

”It looks like you are not afraid of losing everything you have, including your position at the company!” Fu Juan threatened.

”You can’t do anything about my position at the company we built together! But if you try it, I will sell my shares and make sure your right is taken from you!” The man promised and walked off without looking back.

Fu Juan and her husband had started and built a company together, but because Fu Juan brought more funds and had more experience in the business, she was made the President, while her husband took over the vice president position.

Back then and till now, there was no feud about their positions in the company because it was only common sense for Fu Juan to lead in other for their company to be stabilized.

Now that their relations.h.i.+p has come to this point, Fu Juan who had more authority and shares in the company than her husband was now threatening him about this position.

When her husband left, she sn.i.g.g.e.red and left for her bedroom to make a call. Her tone sounded gentle while on the phone with the person she called.

”How are you? Have you had dinner yet? I just wanted to tell you to get ready to move your things. I will give you more details later. Don’t work late into the night, rest early.”

After the conversation came to an end, Fu Juan put down her phone with a smile and got into the bed. She looked very happy and satisfied after the call as if her peace of mind was restored to her.

While this big drama was going on in Fu Juan’s marriage, s.h.i.+ Qiao visited the Fu family with his immediate family to make the official proposal and marriage intention towards Meixu.

The dinner setting was like an advanced dinner set with a little festive decoration. Fu Meixu was all smiling throughout the dining time, but each time she met her mother’s fake smile, she tried to hide her unhappiness.

In the bedroom, Fu Hua helped Jia Li to bed and tucked her in. Even Fu Hua began to wonder if she was that weak, or her stomach was not out that she couldn’t help herself anymore.

”What’s wrong?” Jia Li asked because she noticed something out of place.

”I’m trying to placate your emotions.” Fu Hua replied as he got into bed.

”And why would you do that, nothing is wrong with my emotions?” Jia Li asked with an interested gaze.
