”Has she finally decided to end things with her husband?” Meixu asked after swallowing the food in her mouth.

”Surely she didn’t mention that part.” Fu ChuHua replied on behalf of grandfather Fu.

”Grandpa, how long will she be staying?” FangSu asked with an interested gaze.

Grandfather Fu who had paused with his food replied, “She said she would be staying for a while, so I don’t know how long that will be.”

YingPei sighed and said, “That’s a long time.”

Fu Juan’s relations.h.i.+p with her husband was not anything new to the members of the Fu family, and even Jia Li has come to understand that, including what kind of person Fu Juan was.

Fu Juan was always making things awkward in the family because of her relations.h.i.+p with her husband. She doesn’t listen to any advice and does things her own way. She doesn’t welcome any opinion about her marriage and hates it when that topic is brought up.

As long as she doesn’t stay for a long time, maybe a week at most, there would be no problem in the family. But now that she made mention of coming back to stay for a while, surely, there would be drama in the family once again.

Fu Juan was controlling and authoritative, which everyone in the family knew about. Now that she has serious issues with her husband, she would surely vent her emotions and act willfully when she comes over.

FangSu turned to her mother to say, “Mum, you are going to have a hard time pleasing her, good luck.”

”No one is pleasing anybody. Give her the normal treatment since she is a daughter of this family. And if she gets too demanding, I will speak sense into her. She is already married and has no right to come here to cause trouble.” Fu Lei said.

”Fu Hee, as the mistress of this family, your job is indeed tasking.” Fu ChuHua said.

Finally, Grandfather Fu said, “I will speak to Juan once she arrives. She wouldn’t want to be chased back to her house for disrupting the peace here.”

Grandfather Fu sounded determined while saying that. He had once made a statement before every member of the Fu family.

He had said that Fu Hua or his father, Fu Lei, were not difficult to handle, only Fu Juan was. Her stubbornness had another degree added to it. She was the only Fu member out of control, which made the old man sometimes wonder if he and his late wife had missed a step while raising her.

All these while Fu Juan was married out, the Fu family had forgotten her true character, but now that she was coming back to stay with them for a while, they were beginning to remember her true character.

When Jia Li and Fu Hua returned to their bedroom, she former couldn’t help but ask about Fu Juan’s relations.h.i.+p. She didn’t know the full gist of the story, and this was the first time she was probing into the matter.

What made matters worse, was after Fu Juan agreed to the adoption 5 years later, her husband refused to accept it, and had said that he was no longer interested.

Fu Juan was angry and had even left home back then, but later she came back to the house, only to find out that her husband has been having an affair.

It took some time, for her to discover that there were two children already in the relations.h.i.+p between him and the other woman. Fu Juan made a lot of trouble back then for her husband but chose to keep it from her family.

When Grandfather Fu found out about it, he had wanted Fu Juan to end things with her husband, but she refused to listen. She continued to stay in the marriage and rejected their help.

Fu Hua also revealed that since then, his aunts’ marriage has been on the rocks, and whatever that was going on, they didn’t know about it, because Fu Juan chose to remain mute and handle it herself.

”Since their relations.h.i.+p is so bad, why are they still together? I mean, there is no love or peace, why won’t they let each other go?” Jia Li asked with a deep frown.

”This is something that I have no idea about, but I feel that my Aunt is the one refusing to let go. Given her personality, this must be her way of revenge. Fu Hua sat on the couch and crossed his legs. “Both parties are to blame. My Aunt is also at fault, although, it’s been several years since her husband complained about her att.i.tude problem.”
