Moving from Fu Juan’s topic, Jia Li talked about the important project she had at hand. She had ordered over a thousand Swarovski crystals, and they were already being s.h.i.+pped down to the country.

Fu Hua heard that and asked, “Why didn’t you s.h.i.+p them through flight since you are working with time?”

”Flight would have been very expensive, and I’m trying to save cost for the company.” Jia Li replied with a smile.

”You are right, but during emergency periods, we don’t worry about costs, but about meeting the deadlines.” Fu Hua told her.

For such a big company as FJ Styles, cost should be their list worry.

”It’s okay, but thanks for reminding me. The s.h.i.+p should be here in 5 days.” Jia Li informed him.

While this husband and wife were chatting, the older couples couldn’t sleep, as they were very annoyed with Fu Juan and her att.i.tude.

Fu ChuHua said to her husband, “How long is your sister going to stay that she is already making everybody uncomfortable, is she leaving tomorrow?”

In Fu Hee and Fu Lei’s bedroom, Fu Hee seemed to be the only one angry, but a clear view of Fu Lei’s facial expression showed that he was very angry.

As a soldier, he was already trained not to be fussy, so he couldn’t complain like the others, but he was always very straight to the point.

”You and your brother should talk to your sister. On her first day of arrival, she challenged my authority and disrespected me in front of her adopted daughter.” Fu Hee complained.

The next morning being Sunday, Fu Hee got up on time to overseas the breakfast preparation. She brought a special recipe for Jia Li, but she didn’t know if she would like it, so she made sure she monitored the preparation to ensure that nothing was missed from the cooking method.

Fu Hee’s priority after waking up in the morning was breakfast, and after that, she a.s.signed two servants to clean up the last visitor’s bedroom down the hallway for Lanying. She also told them to make sure it was ready before Lunchtime.

Fu ChuHua who had just woken up and was making her way towards Fu Hee, heard her pa.s.sing out an instruction concerning the bedroom for Lanying.

There was a frown on her face as she met with her and asked about it. “Why are you bothering yourself by arranging another room? Since Fu Juan loved her adoptive daughter so much, there would be no harm if they stayed together.”

”That is not proper, and that would be petty of me. The person we are all angry with is Juan, not the young woman she brought with her.

”I get you that the young lady is not innocent or naive. Not everyone can be Jia Li.” Fu ChuHua said and walked away.

In an actual sense, she was saying that Lanying might not be innocent, as her character can not be stamped on because she was acting innocent, just like how Jia Li was when she first came to the Fu House.

Fu ChuHua was also reminding Fu Hee that not everyone was as genuine as Jia Li. For Lanying to be trusted, she had to live under their roof, while they monitor closely.

”Whether she is innocent or not, I have to do the right thing.” Fu Hee responded.

As the Mistress of the Fu family, she had to be just in her treatment. For now, she hasn’t seen any bad character in Lanying, and also, she couldn’t judge her based on Fu Juan’s att.i.tude.

Fu ChuHua gave up and followed Fu Hee to the kitchen area. She knew that Fu Hee was trying to do her job, but if she were to be in her shoes, she wouldn’t fail to teach Fu Juan a lesson never to mess with her authority and what she can do with it.

When Jia Li woke up, Jasmine had already washed up and was letting her dad comb her hair. Jia Li smiled at the father and daughter before going into the washroom.

She could remember when Jasmine complained about Fu Hua holding her hair tight and causing her pain. Fu Hua didn’t sit well with it and had to practice with her hair, so he could get things right.

Jia Li even had to explain to him that children had a high reception to pain, so he should be very gentle when helping her with her hair.

From what she could see this morning, Fu Hua had already perfected helping Jasmine with her hair.

By the time Jia Li was done was.h.i.+ng up and changing into a new comfortable dress, a servant had ready brought her freshly squeezed juice Fu Hee had ordered for her.

Fu Hee still had in mind that she used to be very hungry after waking up in the morning, so she doesn’t fail to send her light meals.
