Three days later, Lanying made a post on her blog which wrote, “A good and exciting news will come from the Fu family soon but until the news is official, let’s congratulate them.”

Due to her previous post about Jia Li’s pregnancy, her blog social media handle became popular and a few people reported her blog and asked what the good news was about.

Of course, there was no reply from Lanying, as that was not her plan. This time around she was being very careful about her blog post so she wouldn’t be found out.

It was very easy to suspect her because all the members of the Fu family and servants were aware of Meixu’s wedding, and if she reported it directly, they would suspect her.

She was already feeling lucky that n.o.body caught her in the first act.

Currently, Meixu was holding her phone, and staring seriously at Spider’s blog. She was paying close attention to see if she will find out any news related to her marriage, but she didn’t see any.

Instead of her seeing a blog about her marriage, she saw about the good news that was coming from her family soon.

At that same moment, Fu Ling walked over and managed to catch a glimpse of her phone screen and saw her on Spider’s blog. And he couldn’t help but ask, “Are you trying to see if there is any news about your marriage?”

”Yes. Since this Spider is so in love with the Fu family, I want to see how far she can go, and not just that, I want to find out who this person is.” Meixu said.

Had it been she saw a post about her marriage out there, she would have stopped at nothing to find out the owner of the blog.

But then she will also get the idea that the blogger would be currently at the Fu house.

Sometime in the first week of May, which was also about a week and some days before Meixu’s wedding, Fu Juan’s husband visited the Fu family according to Grandfather Fu’s instruction.

Fu Juan didn’t know the particular day her husband was coming until that morning when her old man told her not to go anywhere for that day, because there would be a big meeting soon.

Fu Juan remembered that the old man had said he would invite her husband over to hear from his own side, and got annoyed.

The thought of seeing that man who was acting so shameless after cheating on her, made her blood boil. At that point, she felt that he didn’t deserve to step foot into her home.

Because of the big meeting that most of them would attend, the servants cleaned up a meeting room which has not been in use for a while. As for the kitchen, they made a few snacks and tea ready for the meeting.

During brunch time, Fu Juan’s husband arrived. There was butler Li to usher him inside the house and lead him to the meeting room, where he clashed with his wife.

If eyes could kill, Fu Juan would have finished off her husband since. The way she rolled her eyes at him, could fire bullets, but the way he retaliated by looking away and pretending as if she wasn’t visible, was the worst feedback ever.

If not for her brothers’ presence, she would have given him a piece of her mind, and that would be insulting him and calling him horrible names.

At the meeting table, sat Fu Lei, Fu Geming, Fu Hee, Fu ChuHua, Fu Hua, Fu Ling, and Fu Juan. Meixu and FangSu were not interested in the meeting, so they didn’t appear even though they were not invited.

Everyone had taken their seats and was waiting for Grandfather Fu to appear. In the meantime, Fu Juan’s husband was ignored. Apart from the time he greeted them and they responded lightly, there was no more communication between them.

Finally, Grandfather Fu walked in with Butler Li behind him, causing the rest of the family to stand to their feet in honor, and then took their seats when he had sat down.

Taking his seat slowly, Grandfather Fu glanced at all the members of the family that were present and when he caught sight of Fu Juan, he asked her to leave.

”Juan, leave us for a moment. We have heard your own side of the story before when your husband was absent, now, let us hear his own side.”

Fu Juan was reluctant to leave. She wanted to be present and hear her husband speak, so she could immediately interrupt him if he said anything that wasn’t true.

She had this thought without knowing that it was the main reason her old man didn’t want her present at the meeting for now.

There would indeed be a commotion and possibly a fight if she wasn’t present while her husband was telling his own part of the story.

Reluctantly, Fu Juan got up and left the meeting room, without forgetting to roll her eyes at her husband.

In another part of the house, in one of the living rooms, Jasmine was watching a cartoon, while Jia Li was reading a book. Both mother and daughter were busy with their own thing when someone came to interrupt.

Lanying who was coming towards the area heard the cartoon sound and decided to go in. On seeing that it was only the mother and daughter pair that was there, she became more relaxed.

Jia Li who was reading a book heard the footsteps and looked up only to see Lanying. Before she could say anything to her, she has already spoken.

”Please can I stay here, I’m so bored with n.o.body to speak with?” Lanying asked as she feigned a sorry look.

Jia Li nodded and looked away from her direction and went back to reading her book, while Jasmine remained distracted from her cartoon.
