Jia Li looked amused as she replied, “This is a ball gown, and I’m outside. In case of an accident, I won’t be embarra.s.sed because I have something that is covering my sensitive area.”

Jia Li couldn’t tell if he was really not angry or not, but she did try to check his emotions by asking him to help her get dressed after complaining about how terrible she must be looking.
