Fu Juan was very dissatisfied with her Father’s decision, and how she couldn’t do things at her will.

”Mr. Li, please I want to have a private conversation with Juan,” Aiguo said with a tired gaze on him.

”Sure,” Butler Li glanced at Fu Juan and then at the doctor before leaving. Behind him, the doctor and nurse followed immediately.

Now left alone, Fu Juan scoffed, “What kind of private conversation do you want to have with me?”

”I just want to ask you one question. Do you have anything to do with my accident?”

Fu Juan was really good at hiding her emotions, or it was because she did not fear him.

”On what grounds would you direct that kind of question to me? It looks like you have a little bit of concussion.”

Aiguo smiled and said, “I really hope that you had no hand in this if not, I will pull you and the entire Fu family down. Also, there is no need to come anymore, just send the phone over to me through a servant. As for the divorce papers, I will have them sent back to your family after signing them.”

”Who wants to see you again? Don’t forget that you still owe me for your adultery,” Fu Juan said and turned on her heels.

”I believe I have paid you back and allowed you to do what you wanted,” Aiguo said.

Fu Juan scoffed without looking back and continued in her step.

After she left, Aiguo was left deep in thoughts with his gaze at the entrance.

”Butler Li, let’s go,” Fu Juan said to him as he was conversing with the doctor.

Butler Li bade farewell to the doctor before following after her.

Back at the Fu Mansion, Fu Juan handed Aiguo’s phone to Butler Li. The phone was a little damaged with a huge crack on the screen. But due to the phone not being used for long, it ran out of battery, so it needed to be charged before it can be used again.

Butler Li glanced at the phone before thanking her and walking away.

As Fu Juan turned to go back to her bedroom angrily, she met face to face with Lanying who requested an audience with her.

”Come into my bedroom,” Fu Juan said to her, not bothering to hide her emotions.

Lanying followed after her and found a good position to sit once inside the bedroom.

”What did you come to see me for?” Fu Juan asked. Her tome wasn’t gentle at all, and being smart, Lanying knew she was angry.

It was normal for her emotions to fluctuate given the news of her husband’s awakening. Since she was unhappy with the situation, she was bound to be angry at every moment.

”I heard your husband is awake, does that mean the divorce will go on?” Lanying asked.

Fu Juan stared at her for a few seconds before responding, “The divorce will take place in 2 days, which means that we have to leave the Fu house the same day. It’s good that you are here. Start making preparations to leave with me.”

”We are leaving here in 2 days?” Lanying asked in surprise.

She saw how arduous Aiguo’s injuries were, sons he wondered if it was normal for him to hold a pen in that condition, and what was the reason for signing the divorce that soon? Wouldn’t it mean that the time her mother bought was not that meaningful?

Nevertheless, there are other events happening in the family every year, so you will get to come here more often with me,” Fu Juan said to her in a relaxed tone.

It looks like she was starting to be calm, and not think too much about them not living with the rest of the family members.

When Lanying heard her refer to her as her adopted daughter, she almost lost it. She clenched her fists by her side and tried so hard to hide her anger, but they weren’t of many effects, because Fu Juan saw that she was angry.

Thinking that she was angry about leaving the Fu house without getting to bond with her family, she threw a few words of comfort to her.

But Lanying couldn’t stand it. She immediately got up from her seat and said to her, “I will go and start making preparations for moving out in 2 days.”

Walking towards her desk, she pulled her phone out to check the time.

”It’s too late to prepare a grand event for everyone but I will surely do that by tomorrow evening so everyone will get to watch this good movie. I don’t care what happens to me at the end, but what will happen to you is that I’m most concerned about,” Lanying said with a distorted gaze.

She looked so evil with that smile on her face. She didn’t care anymore, and she wasn’t going to do that anymore because it wasn’t giving her what she wanted.

”Fu Juan, don’t blame me. Every crime that I will commit from now henceforth will be to go against your Fu family. Just you wait, I will teach you life lessons that your parents forgot to teach you!”

Lanying made this promise while clenching her fists tightly with a murderous gaze.

During dinner, Fu Juan ate calmly, not knowing that Grandfather Fu was watching her. The old man was keeping an eye on her to confirm the doubts about her possibility of doing something just to stay back at the family house.

For now, he was going to monitor her to see what kind of excuse she would have in 2 days, that will stop her from leaving the Fu house. The old man really wanted to see what she was up to.

Lanying ate calmly just like her mother did. She was very calm because of the great plans she had the next day.

The atmosphere in the dining room looked harmonious as everyone seemed to be enjoying their food and making small talk.

”Hua, could you please send two VIP tickets for the FJ Autumn fas.h.i.+on show to my place?” Fu Juan asked with a warm smile.

Fu Hua was not surprised by her warm tone because these days, she has been acting like that.

”I will have to think about it first,” Fu Hua replied after a glance at her.
