"Don't worry, I will settle the matter at my end since we have come to this stage. I will bring up the matter to Fu Hua later today. I will also mention it to my husband."

"Since you have a.s.sured me, then I am relieved." Mrs. Bai said with a smile.

"Ah! you don't need to worry too much, you can trust me. When our children get married, our relations.h.i.+p will become stronger and better. And you are my very good friend, so how can I fail at my promise to you?"

Mrs. Bai smiled to herself as she drank the tea in her cup.

The two of them chatted for a while before Fu Hee left. And when she came back to the Fu Villa with a smile on her face, she met Fu ChunHua who was stuffing herself with food.

She snorted and wanted to walk past her, but she was called back.

"Why are you calling me? The last time I checked, we don't have any business together, so what can I do for you?" Fu Hee asked with a frown.

She just came home and was in a good mood, so she decided to take it easy on her because normally, she would have snubbed her and walked past her.

"Relax, I'm not here to look for trouble. In fact, I have been waiting for you." Fu ChunHua said with a smiling gaze.

"You've been waiting for me, what for?" Fu Hee asked. She didn't like the way Fu ChunHua was smiling, as she knew the woman was her rival and wouldn't have any good plan for her.

"I wanted to congratulate you as you will be getting a daughter-in-law for yourself." Fu ChunHua said.

Fu Hee was a little stunned, but then she relaxed as she asked with a fierce gaze. "You've been eavesdropping on my conversations?! I don't blame you, you will always like to act sneakily. If I have arranged a wife for Fu Hua, how is it your business?"

After warning her, she attempted to walk away but Fu ChunHua stopped her again.

Fu ChunHua stood to her feet and walked close to her. Then she opened her mouth to say...

"Tsk...tsk...tsk... it seems that you don't know what's going on in the family as you have another business outside. Father has already arranged a wife for your son, you don't need to bother going over that stress again."

"What?! How can father make such arrangements without telling me about it? I don't believe you, I'm going to find out for myself." Fu Hee said as she walked towards Grandfather Fu's study in anger.

Just when Fu Hee was about to knock on the door, the door opened from inside, and out came Butler Lu. He looked startled to see her.

Fu Hee tried to peep, but the door closed before she could see anything.

"Butler Lu, I want to see father, it's urgent." Fu Hee said to him.

"Madam, I'm sorry, but Master is on a very important meeting at the moment with regards to the military." Butler Lu reported.

Fu Hee went straight to ask after being rejected.

"Since Father is occupied and can't see me now, then you have to answer my questions as I don't have the patience to wait. What am I hearing about Father getting a marriage partner for Fu Hua?"

"Madam, I think you will have to ask Sir about it." Butler Lu said with a slight smile.

"If I have to ask Father about everything, then what's your job as his right-hand man? Maybe you should be fired!" Fu Hee voiced angrily.

Butler Lu sighed and screamed in his head. He felt he had a bit of bad luck with whatever was going on.

"Madam, what you heard is true. Master has indeed arranged a marriage partner for the young master. If you will excuse me, I have to run an errand for Master."

"Fu Hee, I am not your servant that you can talk to in such manner. My lips are tightly shut and I'm not saying anything to you. If you want answers to your questions because I can see how tensed you are, wait patiently for Father to call you in, or you can go find your son to ask him about it."

Learning that Fu Hua knew everything about this matter, Fu Hee couldn't be bothered about her again, so she directly went to find Fu Hua.

Unfortunately, for her, Fu Hua was not at home at the moment. He left the house immediately after leaving the study.
