The next morning, Jia Li went to meet the old man in his study.

"Jia Li is you're here to talk about the marriage plans, this old man would have to disappoint you. This matter has been settled since a long time ago." Grandfather Fu said to the young lady that was sitting before him.

"Grandfather, I know you want to get me a good match, but I don't want to get married now, and Brother Hua doesn't like me either. Grandfather, I beg you to think this over again." Jia Li said in a worried tone.

Fu YingPei was the first person to leave the dining area, and as he was walking along the hallway, he met his mother, and she didn't look sick at all.

He thought his motherboard already accepted the old man's decision, but since she didn't like the idea and couldn't refute him, she was taking her time to flyer over the situation, but who knew his mother still had plans to cancel the marriage plans.

"After breakfast, Grandfather announced to us that brother and Jia Li will be getting married soon, and he asked all of us to help with the preparations. And when breakfast ended, he called brother to his study, and I think it's to finalize the marriage plans."

"What?! What nonsense are you talking about? How did the matter progress so fast just from my absence at breakfast?." Fu Hee asked angrily.

Fu Hee looked as if a clap of thunder struck her.

"And your brother, what did he say?." She asked.
