Chapter 2551 Great-Granduncle Master
Lin Mu looked at the sky as several people came out of the large Teleportation gate.
Along with the individual cultivators there were several flying s.h.i.+ps that were armed to the teeth. One could see tens of cannons lining their sides that would be enough to kill millions of creatures in one flurry.
The flying s.h.i.+ps were not just any normal flying s.h.i.+ps but rather wars.h.i.+ps, with pretty much every wars.h.i.+p being a high grade immortal tool. But this was only because a wars.h.i.+p was a composite tool having thousands if not hundreds of components that too were mid to high grade immortal tools.
It would be hard to estimate the cost of each s.h.i.+p but one could guess that they would cost as much as entire nations worth for one. Even operating them for an hour consumed hundreds of immortal stones and needed several formation masters to control.
It was clear that the immortal court was not holding back in their help. Other than the might of the wars.h.i.+ps themselves, just the immortal qi fluctuations coming from the cultivators was enough to make one collapse. There was no lack of fifth and sixth tribulation stage immortal realm experts with several seventh tribulation stage experts leading them as well.
"One, two, three… Ten… There's Ten Seventh Tribulation Stage Immortal Realm experts among them." Daoist Chu counted. "Looks like the Immortal Court sent out the Hall Elders for this." This was Lin Mu's first time seeing the Immortal Court's people thus he couldn't help but be intrigued. All of them were wearing clothes with the characters 'Western Immortal Court' on them and depending on their ranks, their clothes had different designs.
Lin Mu in particular saw three kinds of robes, the first were the maroon robes that were being worn by most of the cultivators. These were those at the Fifth Tribulation Realm of the Immortal realm as well as a few Sixth Tribulation Stage Immortal realm experts.
Then there were a few experts that were wearing orange robes, who were all at the Sixth Tribulation Stage of the Immortal realm. And finally the Seventh Tribulation Stage immortal realm experts were wearing yellow robes.
"Those are the hall masters?" Lin Mu asked Daoist Chu.
"Yes, the ones in yellow are the Hall masters, the ones in Orange are the Hall elders while those wearing maroon are the elites." Daoist Chu gave him a rundown.

Just as he said that though, two experts came out of the s.h.i.+p that was in the lead. 10:36
Just as he said that though, two experts came out of the s.h.i.+p that was in the lead. "They're wearing different robes." Lin Mu noticed, one of them had green robes with the Western Immortal Court written on them while the second one was just wearing plain white robes.
But instead of the Immortal Court written on it, the man only had a small motif embroidered on his chest. "The Temple of the Guardian beasts?" Lin Mu quickly recognized the motif. Looking at the man, Lin Mu sensed something and made him stand out instantly.
"Spatial Qi?" Lin Mu narrowed his eyes before realizing who it just might be. "Is that the Temple Head?" there were only two other Spatial Masters in the Rust Sky world that Lin Mu had been told about.
One was the Head of the Temple of the Guardian beasts and the other was the envoy of the Immortal Court that was a.s.signed to the world. This was Lin Mu's first time seeing the man and found him to be relatively normal. The temple head was bald and had a long white beard hanging from his face that was covered in wrinkles. If he were not standing with all the experts around him, one might just think of him as a common grandfather in a village. But the Qi fluctuations coming from him were stronger than anyone else.
'He's definitely a Transcendent Immortal.' Lin Mu reckoned.

The two experts glanced at everything from above and quickly descended to where Lin Mu and the others were.
Just as they arrived though, Lin Mu heard a voice in his ear.
'It's not good for me to be here. I'll talk to you later when things are sorted out.' The Saintess said having long since disappeared.
'Alright Saintess.' Lin Mu knew that the Saintess was technically not supposed to be in the Rust Sky World.
While the Immortal Court wouldn't really do anything to her, it would still be bit complicated and awkward for them. The Saintess certainly would not want to be bothered by this, thus she simply decided to leave before that. Even if her help had saved the Rust Sky world from further losses she didn't wish to take credit for it.
"Hmm?" The Temple Head felt something move but was unable to see it in time, making him a bit surprised. "Strange…" the man muttered.
"What is it?" The man standing in the green robes asked.
"Nothing perhaps." The Temple head said before focusing on the people in front.
"Greetings Temple Head and Envoy Liu." Crown Prince Feng Shun was the one to take the lead.
"Looks like we are a bit late." The Temple Head spoke, his voice rather calm.
"You all dealt with the woman already?" Envoy Liu asked having not expected that.
"Yao Changying is dead." Lin Mu said as he took out her mangled corpse.
The two experts glanced at it and checked it to ensure that she truly was dead. They looked at each for a moment before sending a message to the wars.h.i.+ps.
"Go to the Eight Kingdom Alliance Continent. We'll handle the things here." Temple Head instructed them.
~WHOOSH~WHOOSH~WHOOSH~
In the next second, all the wars.h.i.+ps flew away at great speed, disappearing over the horizon in the south.
The Eight Kingdom Alliance had been fully taken over by Yao Changying and it was currently unknown what the condition there was. As such it was essential for them to secure it and make sure that there were no more of her supporters left.
"We've been told about the second soul." Envoy Liu said. "It hasn't escaped has it?" "No, I made sure of it." Lin Mu replied.
"And who might you be?" Envoy Liu inquired.
"This is Daoist Lin Mu." Crown Prince Feng Shun answered. "He's the one who defeated Yao Changying."
"He's Lin Mu?" Envoy Liu had certainly heard about him and was finally meeting him first hand.

But in the next moment he was surprised as his companion suddenly knelt.
"What? Temple Head why are you…" Crown Prince and the others were shocked by this.
"I, Xing Duyi pay my respects to Great-Granduncle Master!" The Temple Head suddenly said while cupping his fists above his head.
This sudden action of the Temple Head was extremely shocking and confusing to everyone present. They didn't know why a man of such a high status was doing this.
"Who?" Lin Mu was confused too as he saw the old man kneeling. "Had I known you were in the world, I would have come to pay my respects long time ago, Great-Granduncle master. Forgive me for this." Xing Duyi said in a regretful tone.
"Please, stand up." Lin Mu asked. "I don't know what you mean by all this."
"Yeah, Temple Head this might be a mistake." Envoy Liu didn't understand.
"No… I've talked to the Fifth Guardian already. I'm not wrong." Xing Duyi said as he finally got up. "Fifth Guardian? The Central Court!?" The Envoy was taken aback.
"How can Daoist Lin Mu be your Great-Granduncle master?" Ziran questioned the logic of it all.
Lin Mu was neither old enough to be the old man's Great-Granduncle Master and neither had two met before either. Plus Lin Mu's companions knew of his origin and that he had come from a Mortal world, hence there was no chance for him to be affiliated in this way.
"I am the eighth generation Disciple from the legacy of Lord Xin Feng." Xing Duyi revealed. "Great-Granduncle Master won't know me, but I've been made aware of the Great Founder's Friend." He stated making people even more confused.
"Wait…" Envoy Liu finally had a face of realization. "It can't be…" the man muttered.
"Now you know." Xing Duyi said looking at his companion. "You should pay your respects too. He's higher than you in seniority." "I, Liu Bei pay my respects to Senior Lin Mu." The Envoy also bowed while cupping his fists. The confusion that Lin Mu and his companions were feeling had only gone up as they witnessed all this.
Lady Kang particularly looked elated as she heard this.
"Lord Xin Feng's legacy? What's that?" Crown Princess Shang asked.
"Its the legacy of the Great Spatial Master Lord Xin Feng." Lady Kang answered. "A lot of the current generation and past generation Spatial cultivators have been taught under it. Our clan has had contact with them before. I didn't know the Temple Head belonged to it too." She clearly knew more than others here.
Lin Mu heard it but his confusion didn't reduce much.
"Ask him to hold back for the drama now. We'll talk to him in private." Xukong said in Lin Mu's mind.
