Lighting up His Bed Climbing Skills

Lu Chenghe felt that Little Pudding had obviously gotten more sticky, always walking around him and also constantly rubbing against him. Compared to when it had just been sent here by his mother and too scared to approach, it was simply like the difference between heaven and earth. However, thinking about the fact that he couldn't accompany it during the day and could only leave it alone at home, his tolerance was somewhat higher. As long as it didn't disturb him, he'll allow it to do whatever it wants.

Thus, at this moment, the Lu Chenghe who used to used to do his work in front of the computer after dinner had no choice but to lie on the sofa and look at his laptop as there was a small Samo lying on his stomach who wouldn't leave no matter what.

During dinner, Zuo Ning found that Lu Chenghe was much gentler toward him today than yesterday, consequently making him dare to want a foot when given an inch and act intimate toward him. When it comes to Lu Chenghe, he was worthy of being called a male G.o.d, his figure was really good. Under his paws, he could feel a six pack even if he was lying down like this, and he could also clearly feel the contours of his veins.

He stretched his paws out and touched it once again, oh, it was a little hard, but it feels so nice!

Lu Chenghe restrained the paws that were indiscriminately feeling around before touching the furry little head, With a very calm voice, he said: "If you keep recklessly moving around, I'll throw you down."

Zuo Ning's tail wagged and he howled once, obediently not moving anymore. However, after a while, Zuo Ning started to restlessly turn his head. He raised his head just enough so that he was able to rub against Lu Chenghe's chin. Zuo Ning rubbed and rubbed, sniffing the light scent of Lu Chenghe, squinting his eyes and unconsciously making a small snoring noise.

Like this, Lu Chenghe stroked its fur with one hand and handled his affairs with the other. When he knew that the tail of Little Pudding who was lying on his stomach wasn't moving anymore and that the little stomach's undulations were steady, he took it back to its den. Seeing that the little white ball was still sleeping ignorantly, Lu Chenghe's lips hooked up slightly. He gently pinched the tiny pointed ears and then continued to handle his affairs.

In the middle of the night, a white light flashed. Shortly after, there was a boom of thunder in the air. As the hearing of dogs is ten times more sensitive than that of humans, Zuo Ning had already woken up when it started to rain outside, and the thunder seemed like it was right beside him.

Maybe if it was an ordinary dog, it would be afraid the first time it heard thunder, but Zuo Ning was a dog with a human soul. He was very clear on what the sound was, and although he was shocked by the sudden sound, he wasn't afraid.

However, seeing that Lu Chenghe was woken up by the sound of thunder and seemed to have gotten up slightly to look at him, tears started to trickle from Zuo Ning's eyes and he quickly climbed out of the kennel, clinging onto the fence and whining.

Lu Chenghe turned on a small night light next to the kennel, walked to the side of the kennel, and petted Little Pudding who was pus.h.i.+ng on the fence: "It's only thunder, don't be afraid. Be obedient and go back to sleep."

Zuo Ning softly called out and one of his paws struggled hard to reach Lu Chenghe with his request to be hugged very obvious. Just then, there was another flash of lightning. Lu Chenghe quickly covered Little Pudding's small ears with both hands, just before there was another boom of thunder.

Lu Chenghe lowered his head to look at the teary eyes and helplessly touched its little nose: "Only this one time." When he finished speaking, he picked up the dog before returning to his bed.

This was his second time successfully getting onto the bed, would the third time be far off? Zuo Ning was wrapped in Lu Chenghe's quilt. One of his paws was placed on Lu Chenghe's arm and his own body was curled up into a ball as he adjusted his position so that he was close to Lu Chenghe but wouldn't be pressed under him. Opening his mouth, he let out a big yawn and licked his nose. Only when he felt that he was comfortable did he close his eyes and go to sleep.

The night before, this little thing had quietly climbed up and slept here for one night without him knowing it so Lu Chenghe didn't feel much. But now, it was him that placed it onto the bed, and he also knew that his bed had an extra little dumpling. Probably because he was worried that he would turn over and crush it while he was sleeping, Lu Chenghe was repeatedly sleeping then waking up, he didn't sleep well at all.

At dawn, Lu Chenghe turned his head to the side to look at Little Pudding who was originally sleeping by his side in the middle of the night but was now occupying an entire pillow and sleeping soundly. He couldn't help but poke the pudgy little belly before quietly getting out of bed.

When Zuo Ning woke up, there was no one on the bed, and he stretched out his body comfortably. Afterwards, he went down the small three-step staircase that was placed on the side. He arduously went down the stairs by himself and ran toward the back garden. In the end, it was still raining outside. Looking around outside for a moment, he didn't see Lu Chenghe's figure.

When Lu Chenghe came out from the gym, he took a look from the window and saw Little Pudding who was foolishly sitting in the promenade of the backyard, just like how it used to wait for him to finish his morning run everyday. He couldn't help but smile as he wiped his freshly washed hair and walked toward the dining hall.

Only when the steward came and picked him up did Zuo Ning realize that there was a gym at home. If it was raining, then Lu Chenghe would exercise in the gym. Zuo Ning twisted his body and jumped out of the steward's arms.

However, his landing wasn't very elegant. When he fell onto the ground, he whined once before dizzily getting up. Afterward, he looked back at the steward and was suddenly shocked. He didn’t dare to jump off the bed, but he dared to jump out of the butler’s arms. He must be a lovely woman mistaken as a dog! [1]

Seeing Zuo Ning being so foolish, Lu Chenghe turned the corner and picked it up from the ground, rubbing the area that had just hit the ground: "In the future, you're not allowed to recklessly jump. You'll get hurt when you fall."

Zuo Ning stuck out his tongue and licked Lu Chenghe's hand. Originally, he thought he would have a sense of rejection of such an action as after all, he used to be a person, but he didn't reject it as much as he thought he would. Even the feeling of being surrounded by Lu Chenghe's smell made him inexplicably happy.

Narrowing his eyes in comfort, when Zuo Ning looked up, he saw that although there wasn't much of an expression,  Lu Chenghe's eyes were rather gentle. Suddenly, his heart skipped a beat and started thumping.

Zuo Ning unconsciously covered his face with both paws, this man was really too illegal!

It had been raining for a while, seemingly taking away every last bit of heat before it stopped. Only after Zuo Ning's vaccination period had pa.s.sed and he had been given a thorough bath did the sky gradually clear.

During this period of healthy nourishment,  Zuo Ning had grown from a small milk dumpling to a big milk dumpling, and a handsome figure could vaguely be seen. His slightly pointed ears stood up, and he looked extremely cute when he ran around.

Zuo Ning's temperament was originally quite one where he felt at home wherever he was [2]. Although he occasionally felt sad thinking about his death, he wouldn't always hide in his kennel. After discovering that Lu Chenghe's fondness of him was increasing day by day, Zuo Ning's courage gradually grew as well. When Lu Chenghe was not at home, he began to explore this home that was as big as a palace for him.

Only now did he find out that although Lu Chenghe lived with Madam Lu, they actually lived in two villas located in a manor. The day he was brought in by Madam Lu, he walked along the promenade and with the road twisting and turning, he had become confused quite early on.

If he didn't see the servant who used to be by Madam Lu's side and bring him toys back then, he would have curiously ran to the side door and look out from it. He never knew that he used to live on the other side. It was no wonder that despite running around the house everyday, he couldn't find the place he used to live.

Hearing the familiar sound of the car, Zuo Ning stretched out his paws to turn off the tablet, then he jumped off of the sofa. As soon as he got out of the car, Lu Chenghe saw a white ball rus.h.i.+ng toward him from the door and conveniently stooped down to pick up and hug the Little Pudding in front of him.

Covering the tail that seemed like it was going to break from wagging so much, it subconsciously s.h.i.+fted its weight toward him. It seemed like it had grown a bit larger. Somewhat satisfied, he walked toward the living room.

According to his past habits, Lu Chenghe would go to the cloakroom on the first floor and slightly wash up before changing into comfortable loungewear, but today, he directly sat down on the sofa while hugging Zuo Ning. Zuo Ning saw Lu Chenghe take a small box out of his pocket and quickly pulled at Lu Chenghe's hand to look at it curiously.

Lu Chenghe petted the overly anxious little thing as he opened the box. He took out a collar with a thick silver chain. The section connected to the dog tag had four openings locking the dog tag's four corners. On the front, the dog tag was engraved with a dog pattern and his name was carved in both Chinese and English, and on the other size was a paragraph along with a phone number.

Lu Chenghe placed Zuo Ning onto his body and fastened the chain onto him. The chain should be adjustable and not too tight when worn, and although it wasn't too heavy, having something extra on his neck wasn't very comfortable. However, Zuo Ning knew that if there was a dog tag, he could be found if he ever got lost in the future, so aside from pulling at it with his paw, he didn't reject it too much.

After putting it on, Lu Chenghe picked the dog up and looked at it from all angles. Seeing the smear of silvery white within the white fur, it wasn't too eye-catching but still looked pretty good. He rubbed the dog's head and took off the dog tag.

Zuo Ning looked at Lu Chenghe strangely. Isn't this for me? Why are you taking it back?

Not knowing if Lu Chenghe understood his doubts, he casually said: "In the future, if I take you out, I'll have you wear it. At home, you don't need it."

Zuo Ning also thought like this as he wasn't a real dog, he was very self-conscious and definitely wouldn't recklessly run around. Not wearing it at home was also good as without it, he could relax.

Thinking like this, Zuo Ning listened to Lu Chenghe say: "There is a GPS in the dog tag, but if you dare to recklessly run around by yourself, I won't want you anymore." While speaking, he touched its nose: "Do you understand?"

Zuo Ning subconsciously said: "Woof! Yes, yes, yes, I won't recklessly run around! However, if there's a GPS in the dog tag, were even dog tags being made this high-end, elegant, and cla.s.sy this year?"

The author has something to say:

I saw that my good friend bought a luxurious bed for his cat. It's soft and it also has a princess canopy, it's even more luxurious than my bed… Can I say that I'm jealous of that cat? _(:зゝ∠)__

[1] – I have no idea what this means (;゚д゚)

[2] – 随遇而安 – an idiom meaning at home wherever one is (ready to adapt/flexible)
