Sorry that this chapter is later than I said it would, it was the last week before my friends went to college and they wanted to hang out a lot. My brothers birthday was also this weekend so he wanted to play board games the whole weekend, it was pretty fun.

18. Hinami and Ikuru – 6

The next day, I remembered yesterday's events while opening up the exchange diary. Ikuru came to my house along with the snow rabbit. My life has become livelier compared to before when plants were dying because I over watered them. I'm happy but very confused. This is… probably a luxurious problem.

"Fu fu …"

I unintentionally laughed when I recalled Ikuru's reaction when he saw the bath. It may be the first time I laughed since I came into this world.

"What, this bath is amazing…! Can I use it everyday?"

"Of course"

"Wow…"

That conversation came to mind too.

Apparently Ikuru loves taking baths. Yeah, a skinny ikemen. It was not his familiar frowning face. Instead his eyes were s.h.i.+ning. I hope that I can gradually grow closer to him this way.

Well, I need to look at the exchange diary. I had asked G.o.d how much I could tell Ikuru. It's not good to talk without permission.

Then again, I want to start going into town and I also need to save points for the door of miniature garden… but I am interested.

The skirt has culottes, with a soft orange ribbon in the back. Since I'm going outside, I should also take a hat.

"Oh good morning Ikuru."

"Good morning Hinami-sama"

As I went down into the living room, Ikuru welcomed me.

His hair is slightly wet. Did he take a bath?

I started to laugh as I thought that.

The soup that Ikuru made was delicious just like yesterday's. Yesterday's soup was a lot of vegetables, while today is tomato soup. Tomato soup is so tasty…!

I remember in j.a.pan, you cut a lot of vegetables for consomme soup… a lot. No, I shouldn’t cut corners. Consomme soup is delicious.

After we ate everything, we cleaned and put away the tableware.

"Before explaining about the house, I will play with the snow rabbits."

"Ok, I don't mind."

The rabbits are energetic in the garden. As I opened the door to the garden, I stopped.

Ikuru and I noticed the mutation in the garden immediately.

"Mangrove…!"

"Magical mangrove…!"

Our voices had superbly overlapped.

But Ikuru had called it a 'magic mangrove',  so it does exist in this world.

To the left of the garden, there are six trees about 3 meters each. It was growing, and water was overflowing from the root. Spring water … I guess. It flows a little like a river for about 2 meters and was sucked into the root of a tree at the back.

… What a mysterious phenomenon. In other words, spring water flows from the root of five trees, and it makes a river about 2 meters. There is also a tree at the end of the small river which absorbs the water, and the river ends.

It does indeed seem to be a mini mangrove.

"Although, this is only found in deep forests and mountains…"

Ikuru's eye feels like it's complaining to me "What is this?".

"Well… how can I describe this?"

"I don't expect an explanation but I'll be waiting."

Ikuru is kind.

Maybe it's because I made a contract, but what is this atmosphere? The tone is quite negligent, but it's not an unpleasant feeling. Strange.

"Yes. The princess tree sucks up the water to distribute the magic in to create. Then it is returned into the river."

When I squat down and touch the water, it's very cold!

For j.a.panese people, that is. Because water is dangerous to drink as is, you need to at least boil it! It's a implicit rule.

"Ah!"

…The snow rabbit drank the magic water!

"It's okay to drink it since it's clean."

"Oh…"

"Would you like to drink?"

It seems like Ikuru has not overlooked anything.

Aren't you interested?

This is spring water that can be drunk only in mountains and in a deep forest. Don't you feel like drinking it?

"And it's slightly… sweet?"

This is indeed the magic mangrove that I had gotten from the G.o.d's point exchange. The performance seems to be perfect.

I brought the big pot that was near the wall and handed it to Ikuru. Then got the blue gra.s.s that was picked yesterday and planted it carefully in the garden. It seemed convenient, so I planted it immediately next to the magical robe … magic mangrove.

Ikuru with the pot seems to have a question mark above his head, but I do not mind. The skill

Ikuru has three bags containing 100 bottles, while I have one bag. So we brought a total of 400 bottles.

Put them right next to the blue gra.s.s and magical mangrove. The material used will be this bottle, the picked blue gra.s.s, the magic water of the magical mangrove, and a magic stone. But it's amazing that I can subst.i.tute the soil for the water.

With only one use of the skill, roughly half of the bottles were filled.

I had managed to make marine potions. As I saw the pot, all of the blue gra.s.s was missing. As for the magical mangrove, there was change after using the skill… it should be decreasing, it's fearful.

The blue gra.s.s is picked with Ikuru again.

Then marine potions are made. While repeating work without care, I felt hungry.

Maybe it's a good time to stop…?

If you look at Ikuru he has an amazed face as expected.

It seems like more time had pa.s.sed faster than I had expected.

I saw Ikuru along with all of the marine potions. This number is… yes, I cannot count it.
