Her flames had shocked the Demon Emperor and the 10 ancient demon beasts, and under their attacks, she had been captured and locked up by them… for a whole 10,000 years.

From when she had been born to until very recently, she had spent her entire life with loneliness and darkness as her companions. The first person who had ever shown her warmth and kindness was Ling Chen, which was why she had vowed to forever follow him. Within her life, she had never had the concept of a father.

"That's right, I'm your father. Your mother was the Golden Crow, who disappeared before your birth. Her face became more beautiful and less youthful, and she gave off a more mature air…Before, Xi Ling had looked like a 12 or 13 year old girl, but she now looked around 16 or 17 years old!
