Wei Xingyue hadn’t expected her father to be so sharp, completely seeing through her. 

She blushed. “Why would I hate him? I just thought that he was quite interesting. There’s nothing wrong with me making friends, right? It’s hard to have an ordinary person who doesn’t look for money from me despite knowing I’m rich,” she forcefully explained.

Of course, her father knew that the hatred Wei Xingyue might’ve had for s.h.i.+ Lei was already gone. Otherwise, she wouldn’t be speaking for him in panic.

Wei Xingyue panicked when she heard her father’s words.

Puti opened the door and saw her sister asleep on the bed. She wanted to talked to Wei Xingyue, but only sat in the room watching her sleep. She saw her sister mumbling lightly, but no sounds came out. 

After a long time, she finally left, closing the door lightly behind her.

Returning to her room, she stared at s.h.i.+ Lei’s photos and notes on her laptop and murmured to herself, “You are hiding so many things. Even my father has to be so careful with you. You even became  friends with Yu Banzhi and my sister at the same time. s.h.i.+ Lei, just who are you?” 

A pair of perfect hands gradually closed the laptop.
