“You punk, you haven’t been gone for that long, and you’re already stronger!” Heaven laughed.

“You got it. Some modest improvements. How is our main force’s strength?” w.a.n.g Zheng asked. This was something that he could not ask Lan Ling. Only Heaven could answer.

w.a.n.g Zheng suddenly thought of Kashawen. The first time he laid eyes on that ironwoman, he knew her heart was steel. She was cold and emotionless, and he knew she was not easily finished. But he had not thought that it would take this long. Perhaps these political types were the real snakes.

Thinking of his own runic mech, w.a.n.g Zheng knew that it did not mean much, but was better than wishes for a lost battle.

Heaven clapped w.a.n.g Zheng on the shoulder. “This is t.i.ta Star’s chance to be reborn from the flames. Every superpower rose from such experiences. I don’t see this as a disaster, but rather a cleansing. The t.i.ta people have always pursued freedom. At the same time, they understand grat.i.tude and friends.h.i.+p. If w.a.n.g Zheng’s confidence came from a lack of fear, then Heaven’s smile was stoic, facing life and death.
