Chapter 232.2 - Don't want to live

Li Yuan saw the dark circles under his eyes and paused, “Don't tell me you actually went back to the Medicine King's Valley?”

“En.” Feng Yege sat down silently next to him.

“You actually went? My G.o.d! I was just joking around. Alright, don't tell me that in these few days, you actually managed to go and come back?”

“En.”

“Do you not want to live any more?”

“En.”

“Can you change your responses?”

“Okay.”

“Alright, spit it out. What did you get out of her?” Li Yuan moved to sit across from him, his eyes falling on his face.

He still felt like Feng Yege's mood wasn't stable.

“Don't tell me that you really discovered some sort of unspeakable secret? I really was just messing around that day.” How could someone actually come back to life because of some sort of heavy grudge?

Wouldn't that just mess the whole world up?

BUt who knew that right after he said that, Feng Yege actually became silent.

So silent that Li Yuan's heart skipped a beat for a second.

Just as he thought that his unlucky crow's mouth had actually someone hit the jackpot, Feng Yege shook his head.

His phoenix eyes were half lidded as his aura was so cold that you'd start s.h.i.+vering next to him.

But Li Yuan did let out a breath. “I was just about to say. Can you not just leave it like that, you nearly scared me to death.”

He would've said that he'd like to try it out if there was such a thing in real life.

After all, it'd be great fun to be playing a role where everyone else was muddle headed and he was the only one who knew what was going on.

Feng Yege didn't stay too long at the underground markets and he quickly returned to the Night Prince's residence.

His aura was dark and no one knew what he was thinking.

After Lou Qingwu finished breakfast, Little Bell returned to the Leaning Wind Pavilion to tell her that the third prince had come to visit.

“En? What is he here for?” There were only ten or so more days until the wedding.

So it really didn't fit his personality for him to come at this time.

Lou Qingwu's eyes narrowed before her lips curved into a smile, “Alright, let's go take a look.”

After speaking, she stepped out of the Leaning Wind Pavilion and walked towards the main hall.

Little Bell followed behind her, her eyes sparking with unease as she grew increasingly agitated.

Seeing Lou Qingwu walk far ahead of her, she quickly wiped her face and followed her.

When Lou Qingwu reached the doorway, Xiahou Qingwu had come forward to greet her. “Qingwu, you're here? Why are you wearing so little? Are you cold?” As he spoke, he reached out to grab her hands.

Lou Qingwu's body stiffened and was just about to tear her hands away but she held it in as she lowered her eyes.

When she looked up at him, she pouted coquettishly, “Third prince, why are you only here now?”

The pettiness in her eyes made Xiahou Qing feel comforted.

It seems like she really was thinking of him after he left her alone for a few days.

Inside, he felt a bit c.o.c.ky but his handsome face was still tender as he looked at her.

He held her hands tightly and placed them on his chest.

“Qingwu, why are you still calling me ‘third prince'? You should change that.”

“...” Lou Qingwu struggled a bit as if she was being bashful, and didn't struggle too hard. She said in a small voice, “It's not time yet.”

“Ha ha ha, when would it be time?” Xiahou Qing laughed loudly, so loud it spread far and wide.

A few servants walking past heard and saw the scene before quickly averting their eyes.

Lou Qingwu's lowered eyes grew even colder.

It was suspicious of him to come without a reason.

She really didn't believe that Xiahou Qing would come to see her even after he knew that she was his, there'd be no reason for him to waste time on her.

So she purposely changed the topic, “Third prince, you're here today because …”

Xiahou Qingwu really was impressive.

Even though he didn't like someone, he could still look at them deeply and fondly.

Not to mention how Lou Qingwu actually nearly died because of him, so there was a small place for her in his heart.

So when he spoke romantically, it was easy enough for someone's face to go red.

When he saw it was nearly time, he finally spoke, “Qingwu, ah, we haven't seen each other in a while so before our big wedding, I wanted to come out with you and go horse riding, to take a look at the scenery. What do you think?”

“Of course, whatever the third prince wants.” Lou Qingwu's gentle nature made Xiahou Qingwu feel even more comforted.

This type of girl was the obedient type he liked, it was the type that definitely wouldn't betray him.
