Chapter 210
The grand opening Dance Party of the large oil tanker is on April 18th.
Today is April 15th.
In other words, Fang Li and Aria still have ample time, three whole days to be exact, to prepare.
But, to be honest, there isn’t much to prepare for.
After all, the equipment procurement has already been completed, and the information gathering is almost done. The remaining tasks are just the preparations for the Dance Party.
So what do they need to do?
One: Formal wear.
Since it’s an upper-cla.s.s society Dance Party, preparing formal wear is a necessity.
Two: Invitations.
Only the invited upper-cla.s.s society entrepreneurs will be attending the opening Dance Party. Without an invitation, no one can enter.
Therefore, Fang Li and Aria divided their tasks, with one responsible for preparing formal wear and the other for preparing invitations.
“In that case, I’ll take care of the invitations,” Aria immediately decided on her task.
But that was only natural.
After all, Aria is a n.o.ble from the United Kingdom.
With her status, getting an invitation to the opening Dance Party is just a matter of a fraction of a minute.
Considering this, Fang Li took charge of preparing formal wear.
That, too, wasn’t a difficult task.
At Butei High, there is a subject called Civetta Research, or C-Ken for short.
It’s a discipline that only allows exceptionally beautiful girls with stunning appearances to enter.
The purpose of this discipline is to cultivate talents who can skillfully use the Beauty Trap technique to accomplish spying, defection, reporting, infiltrating, and other skills.
As a result, almost all students in this discipline are girls, and they are the kind that rivals super idol stars in terms of beauty.
Due to the uniqueness of C-Ken, students in this discipline often need various outfits to decorate themselves, disguise, or even seduce quest targets with specific clothing fetishes.
Because of this, Butei High students often commission people from C-Ken to create outfits for them to complete various quests.
Fang Li is no stranger to this place either.
Of course, unlike other boys who approach C-Ken for various dirty purposes, Fang Li has visited here a few times only for work purposes, needing specific outfits for some of his jobs.
Being an S-Rank Butei, Fang Li is also well-received by C-Ken. Every time he enters C-Ken, he is surrounded by a large group of fans, all of them possessing idol-like appearances, all looking at him with sparkling eyes.
However, each time, Fang Li would say something like this at this moment.
“Put away your act. You’re only interested in my wallet. I’ll spend the money I need to, but I won’t spend any more, so don’t try to use your charms on me.”
With that line, the beautiful girls surrounding Fang Li would quickly disperse, leaving him speechless.
Today, Fang Li dealt with this group of shameless beauties in the same way, asking a familiar person to help him create the formal wear for the Dance Party before leaving.
Shortly afterward, Aria found Fang Li.
“Let’s prepare some backup.”
Saying that, Aria brought Fang Li to the second female dormitory.
This is the top floor of the second female dormitory.
Aria brought Fang Li to one of the rooms on this floor, and without even knocking, she directly pushed the door open.
“The door isn’t locked?”
Fang Li blinked, and when he saw the scene inside the room, he was immediately rendered speechless.
It was an empty s.p.a.ce.
Indeed, just a s.p.a.ce.
At least, for the scene in front of him, Fang Li couldn’t possibly call it a room.
Inside, there were no tables or chairs.
Inside, there was no decoration.
Inside, there was no paint on the walls.
Inside, there was no flooring.
What appeared before his eyes was just a s.p.a.ce with bare concrete exposed to the air.
A light bulb hung in the middle, illuminating the s.p.a.ce, but it didn’t bring any warmth, instead making one feel a chill.
This room was so empty that it resembled a newly completed residence; it didn’t look like anyone lived in it.
Aria seemed to be accustomed to this scene already. Without even taking off her shoes, she walked straight into the depths of the room, arriving in front of a door and opening it.
Following Aria, Fang Li immediately saw the scene inside the door.
Inside, there was still an empty s.p.a.ce, seemingly used as a small room.
In this small room, there was only one table, neatly arranged with various tools used for maintaining firearms.
Sitting at the table, with her azure shoulder-length hair, was Reki, busy maintaining a sniper rifle.
That was unmistakably Reki.
“Kāchā… kāchā… kēng lāng…”
Reki expertly disa.s.sembled the sniper rifle and used the tools on the table to clean each disa.s.sembled part meticulously.
She didn’t refer to any instruction manual for this process; it was entirely based on her own skills. It seemed like she remembered every part, every component, and every structure of the sniper rifle perfectly, it was as if she had repeated this process countless times, silently going about her work.
Her skill was already on par with the instructors of the Equipment Department.
Honestly, Fang Li was somewhat surprised.
Maintaining firearms was not an unusual thing.
For any weapon, neglecting maintenance would make it dull and corroded over time.
Fang Li also took the time to maintain his Glock regularly.
But that was just basic maintenance.
If it were like what Reki was doing, thoroughly cleaning and preparing each part, it would be much more time-consuming and laborious.
In general, this level of maintenance was something Fang Li would commission the Equipment Department to do, saving him effort and time.
In Butei High, more than eighty percent of students, even the teachers, did the same.
However, Reki was doing it entirely on her own, and she was even maintaining the more complex sniper rifle.
It was a bit hard to understand.
It’s not uncommon for students to distrust others to maintain their firearms or not want to spend money, so they do it themselves.
Yet, looking at Reki’s skillful hands, Fang Li had reason to believe that she almost always did comprehensive maintenance like this after every use of her firearm.
Being so cautious and thorough was surprising.
Seeing Reki seemingly unaware of anyone approaching and continuing to maintain the firearm, Fang Li also began to slow his breathing.
