Return Of The Dove. "Blessed be G.o.d ... which ... hath begotten us again unto a lively hope." 1 Peter 1:3.
1. What is the relation between faith and hope?
"Now faith is the _substance_ of things _hoped for_, the evidence of things not seen." Heb. 11:1.
2. Why were the Scriptures written?
"For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, _that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope_." Rom. 15:4.
3. Why should G.o.d's wonderful works be rehea.r.s.ed to the children?
"We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and His strength, and His wonderful works that He hath done.... _That they might set their hope in G.o.d_, and not forget the works of G.o.d, but keep His commandments." Ps. 78:4-7.
