Xiao Lin nodded her head. “Every time she does something stupid/wrong and you catch her, this would be her expression.”

“Brother! Master! You can hit me! Just don’t hit my face.” Tang Xiao pushed her face close to his, her expression was like she was about to die.

Chief Ning straightforwardly pushed her head away. “Stop using this same move every time you get caught.”

Tang Xiao held onto his arm and didn’t let go, “Brother, brother, brother!!!!!!”

“I’m too lazy to bother with you. I’m going to go eat with Xiao Lin.”

“Then are you still angry? I really don’t have anything going on with Mu Cheng. Also, aren’t you have a sneaky secret relations.h.i.+p with Xiao Lin, you can’t judge me like a hypocrite!”

Chief Ning coldly snorted. “If I make trouble, I can wipe up after myself. Can you?”

Tang Xiao’s face instantly became sweet again. “Don’t I have you?”

“Go recite your lines.”

“Alright, alright, alright~ respectfully sending away the emperor and the empress~ leave slowly~” Tang Xiao happily continued to practice for her next filming schedule.

Mu Cheng admitted it very proudly. “We just ate dinner, we’re sleeping now.”

Chief Ning didn’t think he’d admit it so outrightly.

He gritted his teeth, “If we become family or not, that’s still up in the air.”

“I already talked it out with Tang Xiao.”

“...” Chief Ning expressionlessly hung up the phone.

He then rolled up to curl up next to Xiao Lin, coaxing her to sleep.

Compared to the Mu family calmly asking sister Ming out for dinner and solving the matter cleanly, Chief Ning’s actions were more decisive and hard.

Knowing who was behind the rumours, he called up the company’s PR team, efficient and sharp, “Decide what needs to be done.”

After Chief Ning finished calling them up, he thought for a bit before calling Su Bai. “There’s an opportunity to study in America. I’ve already recommended that you go.”

Bringing up study at this point in time, really was just a euphemism for shutting her out.

She tried to test him out, “What happened?”

Sister Ming had already loosened her mouth, and adding onto the actions of Chief Ning’s PR team, this affair finally settled down.
