Lan Ling Nuo cried hysterically in shock.

Falling down was a small thing. If her clothes that she had put so much effort into was ruined, then the loss would outweigh the gains!

But, the imaginable pain didn't come.

Her body fell into a warm embrace.

That hug was extremely broad. Even though the thin clothing was in between them, she seemed to feel the man's warmth from her back.

A whiff of sandalwood scent entered her nostrils.

Lan Ling Nuo subconsciously opened her eyes as she gazed towards the man behind her.

This look met with a pair of peach blossomed eyes radiating with brilliance, as though a whirlpool, sucking in her soul, completely entranced into it.

The face which registered in her eyes was extremely ordinary.

But unfortunately, that pair of peach blossomed eyes added a lingering charm to that ordinary looking face.

Lan Ling Nuo's heart suddenly palpitated swiftly.

Her eyes were filled with bashfulness as she showed a smile which she self a.s.sumed was her most beautiful smile, as her arms circled around his neck while she used a tender voice, "Little Big Brother, thank….. ah!"

Lan Ling Nuo had just opened her mouth when her body felt light as she fell onto the ground.

Lan Ling Nuo stared at Di Mo Xuan with disbelief, totally unable to believe that any man would actually reject her!

He had obviously caught her, wasn't it so that he could act as a hero saving a damsel?

Thereafter, he watched with a distant look expressionlessly as she fell onto the ground.

Her specially tied hairstyle was tangled by a twig as locks of hair were pulled out and her scalp started to hurt.

Ji Cang Tian's heart fiercely shook as he hastily ran upwards, carrying the dishevelled Lan Ling Nuo in his arms.

He lowered his eyes and could see the young lady's wonderful figure from the fair arm which was exposed from the sleeve which was torn.

Ji Cang Tian's adam's apple moved up and down as he swallowed his saliva. He took off his outer clothes as he draped it onto Lan Ling Nuo's body.

Lan Ling Nuo was so angry that she started shaking and her features from that dishevelled face looked extremely twisted.

Ji Cang Tian had never seen her act in this manner as he was so stunned that the hand which was draping the clothes onto her body also went stiff.

Lan Ling Nuo realised that she had lost her composure as she forcefully suppressed the rage and fury in her heart.

The hand which was draped in the robe fiercely pinched herself.

Immediately, Lan Ling Nuo's beautiful eyes dripped out a drop of essence.

Immediately the beauty's tears started flowing down, "Brother Cang Tian….. Brother Cang Tian..."

That shocking coquettish crying voice made Ji Cang Tian's heart start to ache.
