Chapter 21: Target, the Heart!
“Owner, are my things made yet?”
“Already finished making them. Time’s a bit restricted, so it doesn’t look that good, but rest a.s.sured, there is absolutely no problem with its quality. Have a look.”
Ai Hui casually picked it up and was rather satisfied after a careful inspection. The owner’s craftsmans.h.i.+p wasn’t bad. Even though it was a quite rough on the outside, but it could do solid work. As long as it was firm, it was alright. In regards to things like appearances, he never cared about it.
After properly putting it away, he was just about to prepared to leave.
He sensed someone approaching and immediately went on guard. But he noticed that the other party’s footsteps were weak, without energy, so his heart slightly relaxed. This was not the Savage Territories, Ai Hui reminded himself.
Just as Ai Hui finished reminding himself, something touched his shoulder. Palm! The hairs on his entire body suddenly stood on end, and not even a word of what he had reminded himself was remembered as his body instantly made the most instinctive of reactions.
He didn’t dodge, rather, he arched his back toward his chest. Both his legs suddenly released force, as his entire person resembled a cannon that rammed backwards.
The instant he felt a sensation come from behind him, he, whose mental state was highly strained, used the 【Fish Arching Back】 he had been training for an entire week. Without going through any sort of thinking process, he blatantly launched it.
He arched his back and suddenly flailed like a big violent fish leaping out of water. His arching fish-like back suddenly shook!
As though a flood had burst out from a dam, the recently surging violent power suddenly erupted.
Pu!
Like beating leather.
Ai Hui immediately was aware that this 【Fish Arching Back】 had genuinely hit the other party, because he had knocked the other party flying. Yet he didn’t feel like he used any energy, like… like he had knocked flying an extremely light sand bag.
He was only a bit baffled, why did the other party not let out any sound? Once an enemy encountered this kind of counterattack, or was stuck in this way, they would always let out a blood-curdling scream, like yesterday’s bamboo stick incident.
Thud!
The sound of a weight dropping came from behind.
Couldn’t even withstand one blow? Ai Hui was a bit doubtful, but he suddenly realized what he had done earlier. An ominous premonition raised in his heart. Once he turned his head, he saw that fellow laying on the ground motionless.
Ai Hui’s heart suddenly jumped, he was a bit annoyed. He had just been reminding himself that this wasn’t the Savage Territories, but why was his brain so hot-headed that he directly attacked?
This fellow’s also kind of on the weak side, one 【Fish Arching Back】 had reduced him to his stomach?
Ai Hui, who was muttered to himself in his heart, promptly ran over: “Hey, hey, hey, you alright? Are you okay?”
When he turned over the other party’s body, and clearly saw the other party’s appearance, Ai Hui was stunned. Hey, wasn’t this that Duan something Bangwan guy? He remembered that he found it odd at that time, that someone actually had such a weird name. Or did he remember it wrong? If something was to be raised (duan), evening (bang wan) definitely cannot be raised; shouldn’t it actually be raising bowls (duan wan)?
“Cla.s.smate Bangwan, Cla.s.smate Bangwan, are you alright?”
He had been knocked unconscious because of him.
A touch of regret rose in Ai Hui’s heart. He had knocked his own cla.s.smate unconscious, this was because his own reaction was too extreme. Even if this guy has a haughty pretentious face and wasn’t really too friendly to him, it was unlikely that this guy would attack him. Thinking once more about how he directly knocking his own cla.s.smate unconscious…
Too extreme… Too extreme…
Ai Hui reflected as he directly lifted his cla.s.smate Bangwan and carried him on his shoulder. Then, he raised his finished custom-made item and ran in the direction of the training hall.
Once he rushed back toward the training hall, he yelled next door: “Loulan! Loulan!”
Not long after, a pool of sand seeped out from the ground and became human shaped. Loulan was a bit curious: “Ai Hui, what happened?”
“I accidentally injured my cla.s.smate.” Ai Hui didn’t cover up the truth, and had instead was unusually honest in his confession. It was just that when he said that, his face was scorching hot. In the Savage Territories, accidentally injuring a team member would make one be ostracized by everyone. Ai Hui never thought that this kind of low level mistake would actually happen to him.
Eh? That’s not right, he wasn’t his teammate.
Ai Hui’s conscience immediately cleared.
Ai Hui promptly said: “Loulan, you know a bit of medicine, right? Help me check how he’s doing.”
“No problem.” Loulan agreed easily. His eyes lit up with a yellow radiance and gazed at the unconscious Duanmu Huanghun.
This was the second time Ai Hui saw Loulan’s eyes light up with a yellow color. This time, he was looking at a spectator’s point of view and didn’t feel the oppressive feeling from last time. But he felt that it was still inconceivable, he had seen a lot of medical personal, and most of them were basically all wood elementalists. In regards to healing the injured, wood elementalists who knew how to control life and nourishment, possessed a natural advantage.
A sand golem who knew medicine were very rare.
Sand golems only knew how to use earth elemental energy. Earth elemental energy actually could also had a healing ability, Ai Hui felt that he was awfully ignorant and inexperienced.
“He lost conscious due to an external attack. He is infected by a cold, body is in a relatively weak state, very unlucky.” Loulan quickly gave an a.n.a.lysis.
After hearing it, Ai Hui felt even more guilty. Even though Cla.s.smate Bangwan was not his teammate, he had actually directly knocked a fellow cla.s.smate, who was sick, unconscious. He really shouldn’t have done that.
He quickly asked: “Then what do I do now?”
“The easy way is to let him recuperate.” Loulan said: “His body’s foundation is not bad, he only needs a few days of rest and he’ll quickly recover.”
“Then that’s good.” Ai Hui let out a sigh of relief. Then, he suddenly reacted over: “A few days of time? Isn’t there an even faster method?”
Ai Hui was really conscious about time. Hearing that it would take a few days, his brows immediately wrinkled. A few days of time, that would delay so much training time.
“Yes.” Loulan nodded: “But it’s a bit more troublesome.”
Ai Hui promptly replied: “Troublesome is no problem. Loulan, go on.”
“He has already opened his four limb halls and normally would not get sick. However, I’m a.s.suming that he is suffering from internal stress. His heart’s fire is too strong and is suppressing his four halls, which then gave external influences the chance to invade his body, thus leading to him being infected by a cold. But his own immunity is relatively high, as long as the suppressed four limb halls are reactivated and we clear his pent-up stress, he would naturally recover faster.”
Ai Hui was shocked still by Loulan’s frank a.s.surance. It was only after a while did he recover his senses: “What do I do?”
“Use elemental energy to slap his skin. Start from the four limb halls, then the heart to clear his heart’s fire.”
“Okay.” Ai Hui very straightforwardly, without the least bit of sloppiness, professionally and skillfully stripped off the clothes of the unconscious Duanmu Huanghun. Ai Hi commented by clicking his tongue when he saw this fellow’s pale white skin, it was simply comparable to a newly slaughtered and shaved pig that had already been boiled in water.
Pa pa pa!
Both of Ai Hui’s hands shot out, slapping one after the other in quick succession. Good thing that his elemental energy had improved by a lot, or else he couldn’t have persisted on.
Thinking about how he had saved a sum of medical fee money, Ai Hui immediately felt that he wasn’t that tired.
I slap! I slap! I slap, slap, slap!
Last attack!
Target, the heart!
Pa. Bringing along the last bit of his elemental energy, Ai Hui slapped at the location of Duanmu Huanghun’s heart.
Haah, all done!
Despite the fact that Ai Hui’s physical strength was higher than others, he was terribly tired at the moment, and used both his arms to support his body as he panted in rough breaths.
Duanmu Huanghun’s body shook. He opened his eyes in bewilderment.
Their gazes met.
