61 Honored Uncle's Letter

The morning training group returned and everyone ate breakfast aside from Dy who was sleeping and didn't come out.

[I cooked a plenty of Ciel-chan's favorite dishes! I wonder if Rei-chan and company will also like them?]

An omelette with a variety of vegetables,fresh salad, and bread garnished with home-made pickles and wild grapes, we were smacking our lips at the sumptious breakfast.

The meals at Ragna's place had s large quant.i.ty of meat, and although there were also a lot of delicious vegetable dishes, the food Cis cooked look gorgeous and also tastes good.

Both of them are delicious and it's hard to say which one is better, but perhaps because I have been eating only meat, I felt that the dishes tons of vegetables were very delicious.

[They're very delicious. Especially this, wild grapes bread.]

[My my my, that's Ciel's-chan's most favorite food. You sure get along well.]

Cis was also eating herself while serving food, but she suddenly raised her face.

When Cis pushes her way through the thicket on the window to make some s.p.a.ce, two little birds made with magic leaped in, one stopped on Aleph's shoulder and the other one on father's hand, left a letter, and disappeared.

[My my my, for a letter to even reach Aleph-chan, I wonder who it was from?]

Cis tilts her head and blinks her bright green eyes. Darrel's dark green eyes amusingly look at Aleph  with a hand supporting his chin.

[Since it's able to bypa.s.s the elves' barrier, the sender must be the same as my letter, namely it's unmistakably from Feifre.]

[A letter came for Darrel-dono from Honored Uncle Feifre?]

My goodness, it seems Ciel's parents are exchanging letters with the Holy Emperor.

To put it simply, Ciel's parents are from a family of scholars, and they have been doing  something like being the advisor of the Holy Emperor for generations.

[We have an abstention with his country even if our elven woods is located in the Sacred Country, the place where it's in isn't even known. However, misfortune resulted from our mutual noninterference. We started exchanging letters in order to stop it.]

Darrel said as if he's giving a speech and shrugged his shoulders.

[Naturally, since the lifespan of humans is short, it's more like I'm sharing my knowledge to him instead of calling it a simple letter exchange. While doing something like that, we became known as a family of scholars. Well, since I'm the most knowledgeable if we exclude Elder-sama, it's not necessarily a lie.]

Overseeing Darrel being like that, Cis leans her head while looking far away.

[Nevertheless, so Fei-chan to be Aleph-chan's uncle, you really forget the time when  you're here.]

[That's true, because you remained beautiful no matter how many years have pa.s.sed, I didn't notice that it has been such a long time already.]

[Oh my, Darrel~]

[Please do that in a place where we're not present.]

Ciel astoundedly sighs.

The couple of many years who acts like a newlywed was apparently concerned about Ciel's att.i.tude and repectively declared about their love for their son.

[Geez, Ciel-chan, don't sulk, of course mama also loves you!]

[Naturally, you are the beloved son we're proud of.]

[I said enough!]

The straightforward parents and unhonest son's quarrel was somehow washed away and we  return the subject to the letter.

[So, what's written in it?]

[Oh, let's read it.]

The parents and child are still arguing, shouting no and we love you as Aleph opens the letter.

His cool eyes gradually turn severe as he reads on and a vertical line appeared between his eyebrows.

The swordsman who lifted his eyes away from the letter and groaned at the end looked at me seriously.

[Rei, things turned bad.]

[Oh, what did he write?]

Darrel interposed at Aleph's words.

Aleph moves his eyes around indecisively.

[This is a top secret and isn't supposed to be told like this normally… but since Darrel-dono is Holy Uncle's advisor so there shouldn't be any problems.]

Towards Ciel's father who generously nodded his head, Ragna also previously swung his head to urge him.

[There should not be any problem if it's this line-up. Since we're all family now, we're in the same boat. Isn't that right?]

After seeing all our faces, he solemnly said.

We will go towards the story's convergence from here and we will be breaking into the serious part.

It will not be completely serious, I'm thinking of adding essence that will calm down your feelings occasionally.

Nothing should happen that's too horrible, I have decided that it will be a happy ending for the time being.

I think of ending the original story likely until chapter 80. Hmm, probably.
