Undying War God Chapter 12

Chapter 12~ Insane Felix 

It was morning time and the students were moving towards the fighting grounds. It was the day for which the students have been preparing for so long. For them, it was any opportunity to show off their skills in front of the elders and some pervert look this day as a chance to impress a girl they desire. Felix for some reason was very happy and looking forward to this chance. He could compare his strength in real battle against real human instead of the beast with no intelligence. The thing which weird was the newly born bloodl.u.s.t after the breakthrough he had. Before breakthrough, he didn’t think  about taking someone’s life but now it was the reverse. He was walking with Iris and jin to the fighting ground. Even jin was feeling uncomfortable due the killing intent emanating from Felix but somehow, Iris was okay with it. They reached at the fighting ground. The ground was full with the students of various strength and size.

“That guy you see their, he is very powerful. His name is yasuo a sword user.”

“Yeah I know about him. He will win I guess”

“No way, Xin Zhao will win. He is a spear user. He have advantage over range”

“Let’s see who will win.Their is no chance for me tho”

“Same”

Standing at some distance from Felix’s group, two student were talking about the big shots among the students. Hearing their conversation, felix was curious to know about their strength. Special the guy named yasuo the reason was their weapon of choice : Sword.

After sometime, few elder came on the stage and one among  said “Dear students, this compet.i.tion is a one time opportunity to show us what you got. The students who are more talented  may have a chance to become disciple of the elders and the top three fighter will have some decent prizes which they can look forward to. So work hard and prove yourself. In this world, where strong feast on the weak, you have the choice who you to be. So, I hope everyone give their best . Now the Second Elder will come and explain you the further details of the compet.i.tion  ”

Second elder came on to the stage and said “As you students probably know my ident.i.ty as Second elder I won’t introduce myself. Regarding this compet.i.tion, there are several stages which you have to clear before having and one on one showdown. The reason behind this pattern is to a.n.a.lyse your mind set, skills, how you tackle dangerous situation and all. Now. the compet.i.tion will consist of three stages. The first one will test your learning potential or you could say, how well u can grasp something in a given time. For this stage you'll be given a random skill . it can be a easy to learn skill or a hard to learn to skill. In this stage your luck and potential will be tested. The duration to learn the given skill will be two days…. “

When the students heard the duration to be only two days, they lost their hope to even clear first stage. On the other hand. Some students started to pray so they can get a “Easy to learn skill”

“Isn’t two days very short?”

“You are right. Even a Easy to learn skill will take more than two days and Elder said there will be hard ones too.”

“I guess we are not the “Genius” the elder’s are searching ”

“Well there are few who can achieve this goal ”

“You are talking about Yasuo and Xin ?”

“Yes, they have so much potential and they are from reputed family”

“So lucky to be born with a silver spoon in mouth”

Many students were discussing . while elder continued his instruction “SILENCE!! First listen then judge. The skill given to you must be learnt . did I say anything about perfecting it? You just have to learn it so that you can present it in front of us. Am I clear?”

“YES ELDER!!”

The student were kinda happy to learn about the info elder just gave. In their view, they can at least learn the given skill to a certain point at which it can be presentable.

Elder then continued “ The details regarding the later stages will be given after the completion of first stage. As the number of students are more, two students may get the same skills or even three. So, the best among them will be chosen if it happen. So keep in check who got which skill by observing everyone. If you find any similarity, you know who your rival is in this stage and if you are able to master the given skill, it’s your.” 

“Now, stretch your hand ” All the student did what the elder told they to do. Just as they stretched their hands, a very bright light lit their hands. When the light disappeared, there was a thick scroll on their hand. All the students were shocked to see this. But elder ignored their gaze and said “ these are the skills you have to learn in the duration of two days. Lucky one’s or the unlucky one’s, I wish your good luck. Do your best and make us elder admire your talent”

After saying that, second elder do down the stage. Felix also got his skill but he was the unlucky one to get “ Hard to learn skill”

Will felix be able to learn the hard to learn skill in  two days or will he fail? We can  surly find about it in future chapter  so stay tuned!
