Chapter 74

Chapter 74 Respectable People

The roof of Green Rose Hotel. Within a greenhouse built specially for n.o.ble guests, flowers bloomed gorgeously.

Big pieces of gla.s.s from Vias Business Union were a.s.sembled into a huge greenhouse. The temperature inside the room was pleasant, the humidity was also perfect. Warm vapor continuously sprayed from the installed pipeline, turning into fog that was similar to natural clouds within the greenhouse.

Outside the room cold wind whistled and snow fluttered about, but not even the slightest bit of the external chillness could be felt within the room. All snowflakes that landed on the gla.s.s of the greenhouse were evaporated by the room’s high temperature. A thousand man-planted red roses were blooming with incomparable beauty in the room. There were even flowing dewdrops on the petals, even more resplendent and beautiful under the light.

Arthur and Arham stood within the greenhouse while observing the south. The Green Rose Hotel itself was much taller than its surounding buidings, in addition the greenhouse was a building that was intentionally raised. Standing here while looking out, nothing could obstruct their lines of sight. They could clearly see the boundless wilderness outside Dunerk City, as well as the dark Black Pine Forest that stood unmoving like city walls in the cold wind.

A ball of red light suddenly soared to the sky. The bright flame was extremely glaring, making Arthur can’t help but narrow his eyes.

The red light persisted for three breaths before slowly dissipating. Then the wilderness was ignited with raging flames. The flame even dyed the sky red. Only after quite a while did a faint exploding sound could be heard. Within the howling sound of the cold wind, if it weren’t for Arthur and Arham listening attentively, they wouldn’t have heard the faint boom.

The fire on the wilderness was quickly extinguished by the wild wind and violent snow. Not even a fire with a bigger intensity could last in such a cold winter. Furthermore, the moisture in the air was too thick, making it impossible for wildfire to spread out.

“Truly unfortunate!” Arthur drank a mouthful from a gla.s.s of sparkling wine he was holding with a little disappointment. “They are the most powerful and the most loyal warriors under my control. Unfortunately they can’t pledge loyalty to me forever, the oaths they swore that year were still fresh in my memory, after someone among them ignited their souls and longevity, the rest could bring that person’s spirit to return home!”

Sighing, Arthur shook his head and said, “Truly unfortunate, originally I thought they would become my best a.s.sistants, helping me get rid of that fellow, Lin Qi.”

Arham shook his head and lightly shook his head. “At least they allow us to understand Lin Qi, or maybe how much power your foster father actually possesses. Yet another Heaven Knight, truly a strong family, if I could get the support of this family, it would be extremely wonderful.”

Arhur’s expression changed slightly. He softly said, “Are you sure it was Lin Qi who did it?”

Arham glared at Arthur and asked in reply, “How can it be anyone else? Ya and Ling had never made contact with any outsider in Dunerk!”

Arthur’s face immediately twitched. He gritted his teeth and said, “d.a.m.n it, the h.e.l.l with it! Then, you can’t stay here anymore. Quickly leave, I will order my people to escort you out of Dunerk. Go to the imperial capital as quickly as possible, you can’t stay here.”

Arham suddenly came to a realization. He exhaled a mouthful of air, gritted his teeth in anger, and said, “Don’t tell me they also dare to kill a special commissioner of the Church?”

Arthur looked at Arham with a very strange gaze. He softly muttered, “After getting rid of everyone who is aware of the matter, mincing you into fish food, then some of your belongings would appear in a certain far away city, who would have known where you were killed?”

Arham shut his mouth. A blue vein clearly protruded on his forehead. He was already angry to the extreme, but he simply said no more. He threw away his wine cup and followed Arthur to quickly leave the greenhouse, following a special pa.s.sage to return to the suite they were residing in.

Within the bedroom in the suite belonging to Ya and Ling, the two girls were soaking in a huge bathtub, rubbing their bodies clean using perfumed soaps with incomparable disgust.

The two girls’ fair and tender skin was already rubbed so hard it turned red, nearly bleeding. However, they still carefully scrub their own bodies. Every small patch of skin from the small cracks between their toes to behind their ears, they absolutely didn’t miss even one corner.

Since after the Dark Spirit men left, they immediately returned to their own room and repeatedly wash their own bodies. The Dark Spirit men already left for more than one hour and they already bathed dozens of time, yet they still felt that they were very dirty. They still kept wiping their bodies clean while fuming with anger.

On a carpet next to the bathtub, a thumb-sized red crystal already disintegrated. A hint of flame was rising from within the crystal. This was a kind of punishment medium, a tool to remotely control some talisman, inscription pattern, or magic formation. As long as one used an incantation to smash the crystal to pieces, it could make a certain magical object in the distant display its most powerful strength.

The two girls whose skin was rubbed until it turned red grumbled. Their pretty faces distorted like that of a witch’s, “d.a.m.ned lowly creatures, black-skinned sinners, they actually dare to touch our bodies! Lowly creatures, they actually dare to touch our n.o.ble bodies! G.o.d, destroy this d.a.m.ned race, they really must be exterminated!”

When Baltic plundered his spoils of war from the two girls’ bodies, he wantonly teared their clothing, searching and taking everything from their bodies. A huge patch of the two girls’ skin was exposed so when the Dark Spirit men saved them, they had to use their arms to touch the two girls’ bodies.

Once the two girls thought of the Dark Spirit men’s black skin as well as their rough and plain faces, they couldn’t help but have gooseb.u.mps all over their bodies. They cursed all the Dark Spirit people with hatred while simultaneously replacing the water in the bathtub again and once again scrubing their own bodies.

“Why would such a dirty creature exist in the world? Sinners should all be destroyed, but these dark-skinned sinners should be destroyed even more.” Ya and Ling were so angry their faces turned green. They once again replaced their perfumed soaps and bath towels, then wiped each other’s backs with all their might.

They used so much strength it was as if they wished to shed a layer of skin.

For the sake of thoroughly cleaning their own bodies, they weren’t even afraid being burned as they used nearly boiling water. Their bodies were soaked in boiling water while being vigorously rubbed with rough bath towels. Finally blood started to flow one after another; their skin was rubbed so hard it bled.

“G.o.d, since there are n.o.bles like us, why must there still be those d.a.m.ned sinners?”

The two girls felt so wronged their tears started to flow. They trembled as they wiped their bodies again and again. Even though they already bled, they still scrubbed unceasingly. They repeated their n.o.ble backgrounds again and again while cursing those black-skinned Dark Spirit people, blaming G.o.d for not thoroughly exterminating those sinners.

“May their souls suffer eternal torment in the raging inferno!”

Two n.o.ble young ladies wished such a wonderful thing for their own saviors.
