‘I don't think I have seen this material anywhere else.’ Ye Wei walked up to the palace that dispensed the stone and observed closely. ‘This is too warm to be metal and too hard to be stone, it must be the effect of the runic arrays.’

No one, not even the royals who discovered the realm knew what was inside the palace. The mysterious structure had been visited by teams of expeditionists including G.o.d’s prime Warriors, but they never figured a way to enter the sealed gates. As each of the expeditionists could only get one stone, the royals soon gave up spending time and resources in the Ancient Cloud realm and instead invested in new expedition projects.

A presence in the palace awakened as Ye Wei approached, a being that couldn’t be picked up by even the sharpest senses and unknown to the most knowledge scholars.

Without anybody noticing, a pair of eyes’ vision penetrated the palace’s walls and focused onto the visitor.

‘Eternal Star stance, living blood of a supreme, the Combatmaster’s lotus and a Progenitor’s scale&h.e.l.lip;’ The ancient consciousness awoke, interested by the approaching youngster. ‘It’s been centuries since I’ve seen someone with this much versatility and talent.’

Meanwhile, Ye Wei placed his hand onto the gate. His will-force began to leak out of his Sentient into the mark of golden lotus between his eyebrows, a burst of enhanced energy spread outwards from his forehead.

The rippling waves of golden will-force pa.s.sed through the runic arrays and the wall with no resistance, in just moments fed back to Ye Wei.

“So the puppets are controlled by the array.” He muttered as he began to interpret the runes’ energy flow.
