"I wonder if there are other rarified fluids like the Liquid of Dragons that can strengthen my body."

Lu Li was intrigued by this idea. He opened his eyes and flew out to find the Master of Fairy Fox who was organizing the troops. "Is there any other rarified fluids in the Paleo-beast Realm like the Liquid of Dragons?" Lu Li asked.

If he could find another pond of Liquid of Dragons to "activate" several hundred more acupoints, then his body would be unimaginably strong. He supposed that he could even survive attacks from warriors at the peak of the Semi-G.o.d Realm.

"Liquid of Dragons?"

Master of Fairy Fox thought of it and talked with Master of Haechi. However, in the end, she shook her head and said, "If you want some fruits that can enhance the physical body, there are some. But we don't have any other fluids like the Liquid of Dragons, especially with such a large quant.i.ty!"

Lu Li sighed. If he could find another pond of Liquid of Dragons, he shouldn't fear the warriors of the nine universes anymore.

Master of Fairy Fox forced a smile and replied, "Dripping in that cave. Master, you have blasted that mountain. I don't think we will have more supply of the Liquid of Dragons."

"I don't think so!"

Lu Li shook his head and said, "There must be something special in that cave for it to produce the Liquid of Dragons. Off you go. I will go and take a look."

The Liquid of Dragons could have emerged out of nowhere. There must be a place or something of value in that cave.

Lu Li flew to the ruined mountain. A huge pit had been dug out where a section of the Path of Rising Dragons was protected by an Inhibition Formation built by Master of Fairy Fox.

Lu Li did not understand much about the Inhibition Formation and Master of Fairy Fox was occupied. Hence, he called Ke Mang over to deactivate the Inhibition Formation.

"Look around and see if there are any places or items that stand out!"

Lu Li let Ke Mang know about his intention of finding the source of Liquid of Dragons. Both began to use psychic power to check.

Lu Li walked into the Path of Rising Dragons. He stood in there for a moment and sensed a strange field which seemed to be giving out some unfamiliar energy to envelop those in here. However, when he tried to locate the source of such power or to feel exactly what this was, he could not. He did not know what that was.

Lu Li spent some time to check. Later, he sat down with his legs crossed to have a more careful look at this mysterious thing.

"It seems like…"

It had been two whole hours. Lu Li had a faint feeling. Somehow, he heard a rhythm, much like a heart beating. His soul was moving with the rhythm. Yet, when he tried to trace this tremble and rhythm, he failed.

"A wave? Something beating? Where is this coming from?"

Lu Li kept on tracking and sensing it, but he felt this beating was illusionary. Sometimes, he thought it was from above him and sometimes, from the left and the next second, it might come from underneath him.

"What is that wave?"

There was no living creature around, not to mention any beasts hiding here. The only explanation was that s.p.a.ce, or the mountain or maybe the ground was moving.

"Let's see!"

After a moment, Lu Li opened his eyes. He took out the Bead of Life and let it float in the air. Then, he began to check carefully again.

"The feeling is gone. It is inside the ground!"

Lu Li opened his eyes right away. Once he was no longer touching the ground, that feeling vanished. The only explanation was that this rhythm was from the ground. It was the ground's pulse.

"Let me dig into it!"

Lu Li's eyes were kindling. He walked out of the Path of Rising Dragons and took out a Quasi Relic dagger to dig into the ground. At the same time, he told Ke Mang to build a formation to protect the Path of Rising Dragons from collapsing.

The dirt here was not particularly stiff. The Quasi Relic dagger would cut clean through iron as though it was mud. The stones and dirt were ripped apart easily and Lu Li moved downward in the path he dug out.

There was something underground!

This was Lu Li's feeling. The strange something underground might be the source of both the Liquid of Dragons and the Path of Rising Dragons.

Four miles in, still nothing!

Six miles in, still not a thing. Lu Li actually stopped to check. Here, there was no such strange pulse underground. Along the way, he did not find any drop of Liquid of Dragons or something of that fas.h.i.+on.

He was disappointed. Six miles into the ground was quite deep. Taking a pause, he continued. However, there was nothing even though he was 20 miles underground.

"Am I… wrong?"

Lu Li frowned, thinking. Even if something down here could produce Liquid of Dragons, it would not rush up by 20 miles. He found nothing along the way. If the Liquid of Dragons was from underground, there should be some traces.

"Forget it. I will dig for another 20 miles and if there is nothing, I'll stop!"

Lu Li made up his mind. As he continued to move downward, his disappointment grew. He found nothing other than the endless dirt and stones.

He had gone for 40 miles!

Lu Li decided to give up. It was so deep in. If there was something, he would have found it already. It seemed like the Path of Rising Dragons was formed by chance and that was not a pulse of the ground, but some strange movement inside the Path of Rising Dragons.

"Keep digging!"

A moment later, he made a resolute decision. He kept going downward and at the same time, checked with psychic power. The Dragon Armor had emerged. He was prepared to run away at any time.

The red tattoo between his eyebrows was still glowing. The Dragon Demon had been urging Lu Li to leave, but he chose to go on.
