A blazing red engulfed everything in sight, including the sky. Xu Que felt the Refined Moon Key burning in his hands as it melted into blood. Shortly after, he was teleported to the Refined Moon Palace, feeling as if he was entering a blackhole.

Everything went dark, followed by a blinding light. When Xu Que opened his eyes, the surroundings were no longer fiery red, but the hallways of a brightly lit palace! The palace was decorated luxuriously, with accents in gold and pearls. Its pillars were built of crystals. At the entrance was a large group of people who had entered the Refined Moon Palace from the First Realm. Separated from his team, Xu Que used his Soul Strength to locate Jiang Honyan and Xu Feifei quickly.

“Blow your head!” Xu Que rolled his eyes and he used telepathy instead, “The elder from the Second Realm with her daughter is right at the back. Help me inform them that I will need to excuse myself and let them go first. I will rejoin them when I am finished with my matters here.”

“F*ck! I am the lord of the uncommon, the sophisticated, and the handsome, how can I do such a lowly job! Unless you are trading this task for two pieces of smelly tofu, I shall not move!” b.u.t.tface was trying to extort some reward from Xu Que.

Xu Que raised his arms and prepared to hammer b.u.t.tface, as b.u.t.tface decided to complete the task unconditionally. At the same time, the old lady strode in the direction of the Great Hall. Outside of the pavilion was a calm lake that did have any waves or ripples. The vibe it gave off was lonely and creepy. The place was terrifyingly quiet. Many of the disciples of the Leaving Leaves Sect started to look frightened. Meanwhile, Xu Que, who had brought along his family, was looking around as if they were tourists.

“Hmm?” The old lady suddenly stopped as the gang advanced.

Xu Que tiptoed forward and yelled, “Guide…oops sorry…the one in front, why did you stop?”.

“This place…this place has changed since the last time I was here!” Color drained from her face as she stood frozen to the ground.

“What’s going on?” Elder Yu asked.

The old lady shook her head and said, “I walked on this path 100 years ago, see, these are the markings I left here. When I reached the end of the tunnel, two doors appeared. However, now, we have the same markings present, but no doors, and no end.”
