This is the Country of Lakes.
Just as the name suggests, it was a small, nature-filled, and prosperous country where a beautiful lake resided.
The water resources used by the country’s populace depended on this beautiful lake. To the people, it was no exaggeration to say that this lake was a lake of life.
However, accompanied by the population increase in the recent years, the pollution of the lake had worsened to the point that it has become a serious issue.
Therefore, this time, I decided to try and make this lake the next stage of my experiments.
This time, what was going to be used was developed by an excellent mage from the Spirit Country: Magical Mucous Organisms.
Or more commonly referred to as: Slimes.
Using humans as a seedbed, these slimes possessed the trait of repeatedly parasitising and self-propagating themselves.
And this slime possessed the function of purifying human waste and making it clean.
A summary of this lake purification operation is to scatter these slimes throughout the lake.
In saying that, after scattering the slimes, I visited the country again after a short period of time. Upon inspecting the lake’s condition, its appearance had returned to a lake even more beautiful than before.
Although a family with little children were playing happily along the lakesh.o.r.e, both the mother’s and the little daughter’s stomachs were swollen so much that they looked like pregnant woman.
However, those girls weren’t actually pregnant.
That is but a result of them being parasitised by the slimes inside their bellies.
These circ.u.mstances were not exclusive to this family.
Now, every single woman in this country were parasitised by slimes, and their stomachs had become similarly large.
The sight of the every single woman going around the city walking whilst holding their pregnant-bellies was genuinely interesting.
For the woman who were parasitised by slimes, besides their enlarged stomachs, there were no adverse effects. Rather, since it became rather difficult for them to get sick, they were perfectly healthy.
Not only did the original objective of purifying the lake went well, but the experiment this time was also a huge success.
