"Eww, can you not do that s.h.i.+t in front of us," Diego grumbled.
Aiden punched his arm. "Leave them alone, and grow up."
"Sylvia, I hope you know what you're getting yourself into being a part of this family." Aiden smiled, and laughed.
"Your family is full of love, so yes, I know what I'm doing."
Aiden slung an arm around her shoulders. "We're a close family, and even though we're all worrying about the others, I know in here," he pressed his palm against his heart, "that they'll all be okay."
Chapter Twenty-Six.
The storm whipped snow around and Eric maneuvered the SUV down the windswept lane from the house. It was roughly a mile long, which meant the others must be about a mile down the highway. Unfortunately, those miles were in near white out conditions and the snow was coming down so heavy that Eric could barely see a foot ahead of the vehicle.
His nerves were frayed, but he kept his calm. He was just thankful that he'd snagged the keys out of Dante's hands because his brother looked frantic to get to their siblings. Although, Eric realized his brother was reacting to the fact that Emelia was with them.
He needed to talk more with his brother, but what the f.u.c.k could he say? He had no idea. He was tired of thinking about them, and the whole weirdness of it.
"We should find them soon, right?" Dante scanned the road ahead.
"They'll be fine." He prayed he was right before he focused on the slippery road. He could feel the thick snow filling up the wheel well and knew they would have to stop soon to clear up the tires.
"Hey," Dante sat straighter, "what's that? It looks like the beam of headlights coming from that ditch up ahead."
Eric squinted, and his brother was right. Regardless of whether or not it was Kasey's truck they couldn't pa.s.s and not check it out-they needed to help whoever was maybe stuck inside.
"Try and watch the side of the road," he told Dante. "We don't want to join them."
"Keep it straight." Dante guided him. "Be careful here."
Eric slowed the SUV and crept along the bank highway. The side of the road was so full of snow that Eric had no choice but to stay parked on the cement instead of the gravel patch beside the ditch. He inched forward until they were close and near enough to use the winch on the front of the vehicle to get the truck out if possible.
"Stop."
He slowly brought the SUV to a stop, and watched his brother jump out before he could even get his seat belt unclipped.
The snow was deep and crunched under his booted feet when he jumped down. Eric burrowed deeper into the collar of his thermal jacket as he trudged over to the truck. Dante tugged on one of the doors, and with help from whoever was inside managed to get it open. Within seconds, he had someone wrapped up in his arms. Emelia. It had to be.
Dante kissed her brow and hauled her into his arms again. His eyes closing in relief as he held her close.
Eric wasn't sure how long they stood there, but they didn't move even when Kasey, Mateo, and Caprice climbed from the downed truck.
He didn't miss the look Caprice threw at Dante and Emelia. The woman looked surprised and despite the heavy snow, she couldn't stop staring. Mateo noticed and glanced at the couple, his brow pulled tight in a frown.
It was time to break it up.
He clapped Dante on the shoulders. "C'mon brother, we need to get everyone inside the SUV and get back to the house. We'll wait for the weather to clear to come back for the truck."
Dante nodded and refused to let go of Emelia's arm.
"Hey, sis. Got a hug for me," Eric asked, needing her to separate from Dante before the others grew suspicious.
"Yeah."
Eric wrapped his sister up in his embrace, and held Dante's torn gaze.
Emelia pulled free and turned to Dante, who took her hand and led her up to the SUV.
Eric closed his eyes, relieved that they found their siblings in one piece, but he felt a twist in his heart caused by Dante and Emelia. What they felt for each other was so wrong, but it had never looked so right.
Sighing, he followed and climbed back into the heat of the BMW.
Kasey sat in the front with him, while Dante had Emelia on his lap, her face buried in his neck. Mateo and Caprice sat beside them. Mateo looked furious and Caprice looked contrite. There was one h.e.l.l of an argument brewing between them two.
With careful maneuvering, Eric got them turned around and headed back to the house when Dante asked, "How the h.e.l.l did you end up in the ditch?" It might have been a question but there was no hiding the accusation pointed at Kasey.
Kasey didn't move, but he replied, "Ask queen b.i.t.c.h."
Caprice?
Caprice gasped. "Are you going to let him talk to me like that?"
"Shut up, Caprice. If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have ended up in the ditch," Mateo snarled.
"Is someone going to enlighten us?" Eric asked, getting frustrated.
"She," Kasey sneered, "said she felt car sick on the way into town, so could she sit in the front on the way back." He sighed. "As you can see, we reached close to home when a deer shot in front of the car. I had it all under control until she grabbed my arm and screamed. It sent the truck into a spin, and the rest they say, is history."
f.u.c.k!
That could have been a lot worse than it was, and all because of a bad reaction. What idiot grabs a driver's arm while he's driving in bad weather? Stupid.
They made their way back in silence, and Eric brought the SUV to a stop as close as he could to the front steps of the house to make it easier for everyone to get inside as visibility was bad.
He watched as the others exited, and he couldn't help smile at Dante carrying Emelia inside. Mateo wasn't as willing, but he did keep hold of Caprice's arm as they walked up the steps into the house. The last thing they needed was for the stupid woman to go astray in the middle of the storm. It had been bad enough having to drive in it looking for Kasey's truck.
As he followed the others inside, he only had time to remove his jacket before he caught Sylvia up in his arms as she ran to him. Her arms held him tight, and he really felt as though he was home.
"Are you okay?" she whispered.
"I'm fine, and all the better now that I have you in my arms."
Pulling back, she cupped his face and brought him closer so she could kiss him. It made his heart flutter, and took everything in him to not drag her back into his arms for more.
"Hold that thought," Eric begged, against her lips.
He quickly kissed her and entwined their fingers together.
Over the top of Sylvia's head, Diego came rus.h.i.+ng into the room and went straight for his twin. He yanked Emelia out of Dante's arms and into his. Eric noticed that Emelia kept her eyes on Dante as he shoved his hands into his pockets and left the room. Emelia's eyes filled with tears, which she gave into as Diego held her. Lucia fluttered behind them, wanting to hold her daughter who stayed securely in Diego's embrace. He didn't think either of them knew Lucia was there.
They were used to the winters of Montana, but for some reason everyone's emotions were running wild.
Chapter Twenty-Seven.
Sylvia hated seeing Eric so troubled. When she'd woken from sleep, it had taken her a few minutes for her eyes to adjust to the darkness. It hadn't taken her long to discover where Eric was. His silhouette was clear to see in the chair by the window, and he was as naked as the day he was born.
She knew he was distracted by two of his siblings, but she knew he'd talk when he was ready.
Going over to the window, she needed to comfort him. That changed when she touched him and caught his d.i.c.k twitch and start to swell. She knew of a different way to offer comfort. The question was, would he let her? She planned to find out.
Trailing kisses down over his shoulder, she moved in front of him and stepped between his spread thighs. Her tongue traced a wet path over his chest with small bites to each of his nipples. He growled and arched his hips up from the chair.
He ended up rubbing his d.i.c.k between her b.r.e.a.s.t.s so he did it again and again, until she moved further down his torso. Her fingers skimmed his ribs as she made her way toward her main objective-his heavily swollen shaft.
Kneeling at his feet, she had an up close and personal view of her beautiful man. She loved the fact that he had a hairy chest because it wasn't only s.e.xy as h.e.l.l, it grazed her nipples when he was over her, making love, it made him look even manlier than if he'd been hairless. His chest hair led down to the hair of his groin. He was lighter there, and trimmed around his c.o.c.k and b.a.l.l.s.
She used her fingers to caress the inside of his thighs as she moved closer to her target. His shaft was rigid and reached his navel, his excitement leaked from the slit on the bulging head, which was red and angry in its need. The power she had over him while he was like that made her feel as though she could do anything.
Reaching out, she used a finger to trace from between his legs, up to the end of his d.i.c.k where she rubbed. His stomach hollowed out and his shaft jumped. "f.u.c.k," he cursed. "I love having your hands on me." He closed his eyes and tossed his head back.
His eyes snapped open when she wrapped her hand around him. She moved his shaft away from his body and brought him toward her waiting mouth. His legs quivered as he pulsed in her hand.
He was rock hard with no give as she lapped up all his arousal with her tongue before sucking the head into her mouth. Eric gripped the chair arms as he strained for more.
She didn't disappoint.
Withdrawing, she tongued the veins that popped along his length; she ma.s.saged his b.a.l.l.s in her mouth before moving back to take all of him into her throat.
He slipped part way inside when she started to suck and bob her head back and forth on him. Her hand held him tight and stroked with the suction. His grunts and pants were the only indication of his enjoyment, although his hands continued to grip the chair arms.
With her free hand, Sylvia started to play with his sac and rubbed between his legs. Eric gasped and cursed, his hips ground back and forth. He was close and she wanted to send him over, and she knew just how to do it.
His c.o.c.k started to enlarge, but when she rubbed a finger around his puckered hole he roared and started to fill her mouth. His c.u.m was warm and released in long burst of creamy thickness. It didn't take long before she had to pull off, so she finished him off with her hand. She found it really hot and arousing to watch when he released-to know that she was responsible for bringing him to his knees.
When Eric had finished and tried to catch his breath, his eyes hooded, Sylvia ran off to fetch a towel to clean them up.
He watched her the whole time she bathed him, and as soon as she'd tossed the cloth back into the bathroom, he brought her down onto his lap.
She knew it wouldn't be long before he was hard again with need for her, especially with her naked a.s.s pressed against his flaccid c.o.c.k.
"Thank you," he whispered, still breathless.
"I wasn't sure you'd let me go all the way like that, but I'm glad you did. It was hot watching you come."
He growled. "You're going to kill me." He lifted her slightly and impaled her back down on his erection.
She groaned in pleasure, her eyes widened. "Already?"
"I have you naked in my arms. What did you expect?" His head dipped and he sucked a nipple into his mouth.
Thanksgiving day and Sylvia just wanted to spend the day in bed asleep. The night spent in Eric's arms had tired her out as they'd been awake for most of the night. She loved being surrounded by him, but she really did need to catch up on sleep, which was why she had snuck off to the sunroom. She figured with all the excitement over the game on the TV that it would be a while before she was missed.
Instead she found Emelia curled up on one of the chairs, her face streaked with tears.
Her first thought had been to back out and give her some privacy, but she couldn't do that. Emelia looked heartbroken, and badly in need of comfort.
Moving closer, Emelia must have sensed her, because she sat up and looked around before she tried to hide her tear-stained face.
"Hey, it's okay." Sylvia sat beside her and offered a shoulder to Emelia, which she accepted. "What has you so upset? Or should I ask who?"
Emelia looked up and sighed as she moved back into a corner of the sofa. "You know?"
Sylvia shook her head. "Guessed."
"And doesn't it bother you that two siblings are in love with the other and not in a sibling way?" Emelia asked while tears continued to run down her face.
"I don't know what to think to be honest. I've seen you both together and it's obvious that you're both hurting."
She nodded. "If Dante would listen, then we wouldn't need to hurt."
Sylvia frowned. "What do you mean?"
"It doesn't matter," she hiccupped.
