Qiao Tan Yuan wanted to point at Chu Da, but Gu Jiao Wu held her hand, twirled them around a dancing couple and off the dance floor.

‘I won’t give you an opportunity to go back to the little white rabbit,’ Gu Jiao Wu said.

Gu Jiao Wu held Qiao Tan Yuan’s back, and led her to the elevators. Qiao Tan Yuan looked over her shoulders. Quan Zheng Hao and Li Lam were stuck behind other dancers, Qiao Jie, Tong Shang Wen and Hu Zui Ren were chatting with guests. No one noticed Gu Jiao Wu was taking her away from the party.

When the song ended, Quan Zheng Hao searched for Qiao Tan Yuan. He was angry Gu Jiao Wu had taken Qiao Tan Yuan away from the party. In the future, he wasn’t going to let Gu Jiao Wu take Qiao Tan Yuan again.

Upstairs, Qiao Tan Yuan recognised Gu Jiao Wu took her to his apartment where they spent the night together. She immediately turned around to open the door and escape. Gu Jiao Wu locked the door, and carried her to the bed. He laid on top of her, and she felt their hearts racing. There was no retreat. He kissed her lips before she could protest, she didn’t want to be drawn back into his lies. She lifted her knee to kick him, he was prepared for her attack and scissored his legs around her legs.

Qiao Tan Yuan moved her head side to side to avoid Gu Jiao Wu’s lips. He held her head, and seduced her with his lips.

‘You’re mine,’ Gu Jiao Wu said.

Gu Jiao Wu pulled Qiao Tan Yuan’s strapless red dress down. It was something he wanted to do the moment he saw her arrive at the party.

‘Stop,’ Qiao Tan Yuan said.

Qiao Tan Yuan didn’t wear a bra under her dress, her b.r.e.a.s.t.s were exposed.

Gu Jiao Wu’s hands rubbed Qiao Tan Yuan’s soft b.r.e.a.s.t.s. The thought of another man seeing Qiao Tan Yuan naked made him crazy.

‘Gu Jiao Wu!’ Qiao Tan Yuan said. ‘Stop! Your Chu Da is waiting downstairs for you!’

Chu Da? It was the first time Gu Jiao Wu didn’t want hear or think about the name Chu Da. He didn’t want Qiao Tan Yuan to misunderstand.

‘She’s not Chu Da,’ Gu Jiao Wu said. He bit Qiao Tan Yuan’s shoulder. ‘Qiao Tan Yuan, how can you think of another person in a time like this?’

‘Gu Jiao Wu!’ Qiao Tan Yuan said.

Qiao Tan Yuan didn’t want to think about other people when she was with Gu Jiao Wu. But she needed to think about other people to protect herself from believing Gu Jiao Wu’s lies again.

Gu Jiao Wu kissed Qiao Tan Yuan’s lips whiles undressing them.

‘I won’t give you time to think about another person,’ Gu Jiao Wu said.

Gu Jiao Wu wanted Qiao Tan Yuan to only think about him the way he only thought about her when they were intimate with each other.

Qiao Tan Yuan was lost in Gu Jiao Wu’s kiss. He pulled her body up, and didn’t leave any part of her body untouched.

In the middle of the night, Qiao Tan Yuan opened her eyes. She didn’t know how many times her body, and Gu Jiao Wu’s body peaked together. But she panicked when she felt his erection rubbing against her bottom.

‘No,’ Qiao Tan Yuan said.

Qiao Tan Yuan’s body ached everywhere above and below her waist.

Gu Jiao Wu heard Qiao Tan Yuan’s tired tone of voice, and smiled. He hugged her tightly from behind.

‘Are you tired?’ Gu Jiao Wu asked.

Qiao Tan Yuan heard the smugness in Gu Jiao Wu’s tone of voice, but she was too tired to curse him.

‘Do you want more?’ Gu Jiao Wu asked and turned Qiao Tan Yuan’s body around to face him.

‘No,’ Qiao Tan Yuan said.

Qiao Tan Yuan gathered her weak energy, and put her hands on Gu Jiao Wu’s chest. Her body wouldn’t cope if his body penetrated her body again so soon.

‘Gu Jiao Wu, stay away,’ Qiao Tan Yuan said.

Gu Jiao Wu’s body could kill Qiao Tan Yuan’s body through extreme pleasure.

Gu Jiao Wu spared Qiao Tan Yuan, wrapped her arms around his waist, and hugged her tightly.

‘Sleep,’ Gu Jiao Wu said.

Qiao Tan Yuan closed her eyes, she needed sleep to let her body rest.

In the morning, Qiao Tan Yuan had a good night sleep but her body was still recovering from Gu Jiao Wu’s physical prowess.

Qiao Tan Yuan’s limp arms drupe, and she felt warm skin under her arms. She opened her eyes, Gu Jiao Wu was sleeping soundly. In another person’s eyes, his sleeping face looked angelic but in that moment she thought he had a hateful face. He didn’t know she lied to him by promising to give him Xiao Bao. But if he believed he got what he wanted, why wouldn’t he let her go? If she wasn’t someone important to him, why did he continue to act like he cared about her?

Qiao Tan Yuan wondered if it was Gu Jiao Wu’s male pride that couldn’t accept seeing her with another man. Regardless why, it didn’t change the truth, he was an AH. She didn’t want to be in the same bed as him. She got out of bed, and her legs were limp too. His arm braced her waist to stop her from falling, pulled her back to bed and his body snuggled her body. She turned her head around to look at him, and was surprised to see gentleness in his eyes. It was the first time he looked at her that way.

Gu Jiao Wu thought Qiao Tan Yuan’s dazed face was loveable, and he bit her loveable lips.

‘Gu Jiao Wu!’ Qiao Tan Yuan said. ‘You’re too much! What right do you have to do this to me?’

‘What did I do to you?’ Gu Jiao Wu asked.

Gu Jiao Wu looked at Qiao Tan Yuan’s embarra.s.sed face, and didn’t understand what she meant.

‘You… you…’ Qiao Tan Yuan said. Gu Jiao Wu wasn’t embarra.s.sed, but she was so she turned her back on him. ‘What right do you have to touch me? Can’t you see you’re too much?’

‘Too much?’ Gu Jiao Wu asked. He turned Qiao Tan Yuan around to see her face. ‘I can’t see.’

‘You…’ Qiao Tan Yuan said.

‘Qiao Tan Yuan,’ Gu Jiao Wu said. He looked at Qiao Tan Yuan sincerely, and held her hand. ‘Let’s get back together.’

‘Gu Jiao Wu!’ Qiao Tan Yuan said. Those words only made her nauseous. ‘Who wants to get back together with you? Stop dreaming. I told you I won’t get back together with you. You can go to h.e.l.l.’ She paused to breathe. ‘I’m giving you Xiao Bao. What else do you want?’

‘This isn’t about Xiao Bao,’ Gu Jiao Wu said.

Gu Jiao Wu was unclear why he wanted to be with Qiao Tan Yuan, but he was certain he didn’t want her to be with another man.

‘Qiao Tan Yuan, can you give us another chance?’ Gu Jiao Wu asked. ‘Can we start again?’

Qiao Tan Yuan was confused by Gu Jiao Wu’s strong warm hand holding her small hand.

‘Qiao Tan Yuan, I realised I can’t let you go,’ Gu Jiao Wu said. ‘I want to start again with you.’

‘You… what are you saying?’ Qiao Tan Yuan asked. She thought she was hallucinating. Was Gu Jiao Wu joking? ‘Today isn’t April Fools’ Day.’

‘Of course it’s not,’ Gu Jiao Wu said. It wasn’t even April. He was being serious. ‘Qiao Tan Yuan, I want to get back together with you not only for Xiao Bao’s sake, I also truly want to be with you.’

‘To be with me?’ Qiao Tan Yuan asked. She couldn’t believe what she heard. ‘Are you saying you love me? Is that why you want to get back together with me?’

‘Love?’ Gu Jiao Wu asked. ‘If seeing you with another man makes me jealous, and if I’m only interested in you means I love you then I love you.’

Qiao Tan Yuan was shocked to hear Gu Jiao Wu say he loved her for the first time. If during their marriage they were lying in bed together, and he held her hand while saying he loved her then she would faint with happiness.
