Lin Xin rushed to the local police station . Just as she was about to file a report, her phone screen lit up, displaying an incoming call from Lin Xinyu .
“Lin Xin, I accidentally tripped and fell . My phone’s battery popped out, it took forever to get the thing back in again . ”
Lin Xin could finally sigh in relief .
“Don’t casually turn your phone off in the future . It worries me, especially since the condition of your heart isn’t stable…”
The policeman waiting on the other side of the window asked, “Do you still need us to report this case?”
“I’m sorry . There’s no need . Thank you, and sorry about that . ” Lin Xin smiled, embarra.s.sed, at him .
“Are you in the police station? I’ll head over to find you there . ”

The girl leaned her head on the boy’s arm . They chatted and laughed happily .
