Chapter 27

The Soon to be Born King of Stock

Pang Jing Dong further explained his a.n.a.lysis, "The problem is, the two death-cross usually takes a few days before appearing respectively. Plus, the MACD line is still yet to have a death-cross and is yet to pa.s.s the baseline, to the extent that there is some sign of bottom divergence, which indicates a drop in the stock value. However, the DIF and MACD line are not dropping in sync. Instead, they are rising, such that the DIF line has already surpa.s.sed the MACD line from the bottom. A second breakthrough is going to happen now, forming two golden crosses, which is a strong signal of a good time for buying the stock. The MACD line is useful in determining the rise or drop of the value in the long term. When the change in the stock value is unable to be determined, MACD is not accurate to be used as a buying signal, which sometimes has a higher possibility of being a fake to lure people to buy the stock. Hence, it serves as the reason to think that the two death-crosses were a bait laid by the market maker, to mislead the shareholders to believe that the value of the stock has reached a limit which leads to the market maker to slow down the rate of selling the stock. This would cause the price of the stock to return to its normal value. To do so, the shareholders will be selling the stock on their hand with a lower price."

"Great a.n.a.lysis! Have you decided to buy the stock?"

"Yes!"

"How much are you investing?"

"Five million!" Pang Jing Dong said with confidence, "A new king of stock will soon be born."

The old man let out a laugh, "I have high hopes for you!"

As soon as Pang Jing Dong finished dealing with the stock, Shen Jia Yao called him, "Have you got the money back?”

Pang Jing Dong replied, "I've got it back!"

"I was told you had returned to the company just now, why did you leave again?"

Pang Jing Dong came up with a lie, "Doctor Di did not have so much cash on her. She had to withdraw it from the bank. Thus she told me to wait for her at the company."

Not sure if Pang Jing Dong's lie was too naïve, or Shen Jia Yao knew his current characteristics, she immediately exposed his life without hesitation, "Did you go out to attend personal affairs after seeing that I'm not at the company?"

Pang Jing Dong let out two hollow laughs without answering the question.

Shen Jia Yao said, "Stop the nonsense and faster come back!"

As Pang Jing Dong returned to the company, he placed the money in front of Shen Jia Yao. She gave him a glance before saying, "You could've given it to the financial department straight away."

"I would like you to see the money with your eyes."

"How did you manage to get the money back?"

"She was touched by my sincerity!"

"I hope you did not use your specialty!"

Even though Shen Jia Yao did not completely believe Pang Jing Dong to be a male prost.i.tute, but as Pang Jing Dong was unwilling to speak of his past, and his att.i.tude during his daily work, she concluded that Pang Jing Dong was not involved in any proper occupation.

Pang Jing Dong was unwilling to explain the misunderstanding; he believed that a person's trust toward himself was not completely established in his words, but was also dependent on the person's willingness of doing so.

Shen Jia Yao was about to say something else when her phone rang. Her expression changed instantly as she picked up the call.

Upon seeing this, Pang Jing Dong said with a sense of self-acknowledgement, "If there's nothing else, I'll be leaving now!"

"Wait a sec!" Shen Jia Yao told Pang Jing Dong to stay in her office, while she continued to talk on the phone.  Finally, she ended the call after saying, "Got it, give me some time to think about it!" As she put her phone down, she told Pang Jing Dong, "Something just happened, might need your help!"

"What is it?"

"Something personal. It might be relevant to your occupation, so I a.s.sume you would be helpful."

Pang Jing Dong was mad at last, who asked with an annoyed tone, "What occupation of mine are you talking about?"

"You…" Shen Jia Yao hesitated to finish her sentence.

"I clearly told you, the name card isn't mine, and I was never a male prost.i.tute!"

"But the name card was in your possession, if you have contact with this kind of person, you should know more about them."

Pang Jing Dong felt helpless, who let out a sigh and said, "Fine, there's no point of arguing. Tell me what's going on."

The call was from Professor Chen, who was a lecturer of a professional course in Shen Jia Yao's university; he was also her most respected person.

As Shen Jia Yao picked up the call, the first sentence from Professor Chen was "Something's wrong!", which immediately stunned Shen Jia Yao who was confused about the situation and instinctively told Pang Jing Dong to stay. As Professor Chen continued to explain the situation, Shen Jia Yao then knew it had nothing to do with her; he was only asking her a.s.sistance.

Professor Chen had a student whose name was Chen Lu; she was Shen Jia Yao's junior, whose family condition was average, but she had a gorgeous look.

Due to coincidence, Chen Lu met a guy named w.a.n.g Li in the same university. After a period of interacting with each other, a new couple was born. Their relations.h.i.+p escalated rapidly since they had met. At last, Chen Lu was so possessed by the relations.h.i.+p that she ended up having s.e.x with w.a.n.g Li, who had set up tiny pinhole cameras beforehand and recorded the whole thing; what happened next was quite obvious.

It was essential to introduce w.a.n.g Li's background. He came from a small village outside of town. His family had financial problems. Hence, all he could think of was to make some money to improve his and his family's life. He tried to do some small businesses but ended up losing his budget of living expenses for the semester, which caused him to have some evil thoughts.

As he was interested in online chats, plus he had a handsome appearance, w.a.n.g Li was able to be friends with many girls, and was involved in quite an amount of love affairs. He then thought of using women to earn some money.

After some planning, w.a.n.g Li came up with a plan: First, he would be meeting girls online, mainly targeting university students. He would then arrange for a real-life meetup, and if the girl's appearance were acceptable, he would then execute his love attacks. When the timing was right, he would then have s.e.x with the girl. If the girl were unwilling to do so, w.a.n.g Li would use methods like drugging the girl's drink, etc. It was quite easy to obtain the right drug to do so. Condoms would not be the only item to be sold in drug stores, right? Furthermore, the girls nowadays would easily spread their legs open, thus making w.a.n.g Li's job easier. Wand Li would then record the whole process and blackmail his target to be involved in s.e.x deals.

w.a.n.g Li had a.s.signed specific IDs to the girls, who were cla.s.sified into A and B grades. He would then use their photos to attract customers on the Internet. Different prices were set for different services: one s.e.xual intercourse would be this price; overnight would be another price etc. Once a deal was made, w.a.n.g Li would then send the selected girl to a checked-in room of a hotel and await her customer who would be told the number of the room. The customer would pay the sum to the girl, which w.a.n.g Li would take away forty-percent as his agent fee.

As w.a.n.g Li was always hiding behind the scene, even though two of his girls were arrested by the cops, it did not affect him.

The girls were frightened of the possibility that w.a.n.g Li would spread the videos around the university or into the hands of their friends and relatives. Thus, they did not dare to disobey him or report him. As a result, w.a.n.g Li became more ruthless, who was said to have extended his 'operation' to other areas.

Chen Lu was not the first victim, but it was still too late when she realized what she had got herself into.

However, the situation turned outrageous after w.a.n.g Li had admitted the truth to Chen Lu; the first thought that came up to her mind was, it sounded like a way of earning some pocket money. Her family's financial status was not enough to satisfy her need. Her vanity had caused her to take the wrong path.

With her pretty look, she would be earning a lot of money. Despite that, it was not considered an occupation to be proud of. If the truth were to be told, her life would be ruined. Chen Lu was not a depraved person; she decided to 'resign' after completing two 'jobs.’

Of course, w.a.n.g Li would not allow Chen Lu who was a good source of money to leave so easily. Hence, he threatened Chen Lu again with the recordings. After crying and begging for a few times, w.a.n.g Li was afraid that Chen Lu would act silly if he insisted on his plan. Thus he offered to give her back the recordings if she would pay him twenty thousand dollars. It was definitely a crazy sum for Chen Lu, who was still not sure if w.a.n.g Li would return the recordings to her even after she paid the money. If he demanded twenty thousand dollars this time, would there be another twenty thousand dollars after this?

At this moment, Chen Lu was about to graduate and would find herself in the working phase soon, which meant she needed to solve the issue as soon as possible. After a painful consideration, she made the right choice by telling it to his lecturer.

Although Professor Chen was getting old, he had never encountered such a problem before. After having some thoughts on it, he decided to ask Shen Jia Yao for help. Professor Chen knew Shen Jia Yao's family background and social network; she was his best chance of helping Chen Lu to thoroughly solve the problem.

What Professor Chen did not know was, humans tend to be more protective of themselves as they get richer. Therefore, Shen Jia Yao did not agree to help immediately, who delayed her response by saying she needed some time to think.

"What are you planning to do?" Pang Jing Dong asked.

"This had nothing to do with me. I would consider helping due to my respect toward Professor Chen, but this Chen Lu appeared to be lacking some self-respect and was stupid enough to make such a mistake. I don't think such a person is worth helping."

Pang Jing Dong smilingly asked, "Do you remember while we were in secondary school, there's a period that you are not willing to do homework, and I ended up doing them all for you?"

Shen Jia Yao blushed and nodded her head in embarra.s.sment, "Never expect you to remember it after all these years. But, does this have anything to do with the current matter?"

"I remembered everything about you." After hesitating for a while, Pang Jing Dong continued, "Initially, I didn't say anything while I was helping you. However, during the test, a lot of the questions can be found in previous homework, which you didn't know how to solve. At that moment, did you wish there's someone that can help you? You ended up failing a lot of subjects that time. It was also your first time of getting such a bad result. Since then, you started trying your best to finish all your homework by yourself."

"What are you trying to say?"

"Everyone would make mistakes at times. When someone had realized his own mistake, the person would try to revert the outcome, but there's no such thing as rewinding the time. Hence, it is important to be cautious next time."

Shen Jia Yao fell into silence for a while, before dialing Professor Chen's number and told him, "I'll oversee this matter."

Even though Shen Jia Yao had decided to interfere, but she had no idea how to do it. As she was turning her gaze at the man before him, Pang Jing Dong looked at his watch and immediately said, "Working time has finished. I'll be leaving now, bye bye!" After saying this, Pang Jing Dong did not care if Shen Jia Yao was trying to say something, and left the office straight away.

Shen Jia Yao facing the empty room and said helplessly, "If you could just stay for another ten minutes, I'll pay you overtime wage!”
