"I was pushed about, the place was packed, I was being shoved here and there, I started looking for you. Then I noticed the door and I ran. What would you have me do? I ran for my life I found somebody who was willing to give me a ride. That's it. That's how I got away."

"I'll find out what your hiding Miranda. I'll find out who you're protecting." Alec watched Miranda try and hug herself from his view. Laughable! "See now that I've got you I'm a little lost as to what to do with you." Miranda was biting the inside of her mouth. He couldn't be more turned on. He started stroking himself through his pants. "Miranda my d.i.c.k needs release. See to it." He loved how her face dropped at his command.

"Come here." f.u.c.k, Miranda thought what did he want now? She stood and approached him. Alec opened his arms as if wanting to embrace her. This dude had f.u.c.king multiple personalities. Unsure how to proceed Miranda moved into his arms.

Alec knew he was confusing the f.u.c.k out of her. Good! She needed to be left in the dark. How dare she think that her leaving him would be okay? Wrapping his arms around her felt like heaven. He knew she was holding back her tears. Let's see if he could still break her.

Miranda woke up as if from a trance. He did it again, he played her like a f.u.c.king violin! He had the most triumphant look on his face and Miranda feared his intent. "Get dressed I've had enough of you." Miranda was left speechless. That was it? Nothing else, he wasn't going to f.u.c.k her? Was she disappointed? She dressed and followed him out to the car. He threw the keys to reception and got in the driver's seat. Neither said a word. He drove her home and f.u.c.k if he didn't know where she lived. Stopped the car and walked her inside.

He unlocked the door and went in before her. Like a f.u.c.king trained dog Miranda followed him into her once Alec free zone, now she would always see his face in her house.

He searched her house opened draws and skimmed through her mail. He then proceeded to her room where he searched her wardrobe and then her bedside draw. He went through her delicates and picked up a red thong and held it up. "For anybody in particular?" Miranda shook her head.

Alec was somewhat satisfied that there were no pictures of men or any indication that she was dating. He pushed her till her body hit the door. He placed his forehead onto hers. "Listen carefully Miranda, if by chance you think to warn Toni or run for help I swear to you sweetheart I will not let Toni live to see another day. I'm sure you know I don't make empty threats. Are we clear Miranda?" Nodding her head unable to think pa.s.sed him so close to her. "Answer the f.u.c.king question!"

"Good girl." With that he kissed her on the mouth, hurting her, branding her. He left her there stunned. It took Miranda a while after she heard him leave with her car to be able to process the fact that he had left. What the f.u.c.k was she going to do now? Good G.o.d this was a nightmare.

Miranda was in a daze the next morning. Quickly going to her laptop Miranda went through her emails. Yes bada.s.s1 Inboxed her! She opened the email nervous to hear from Carlos.

Hey Miranda Family doing fine. I won't be able to meet you for lunch. We will catch up another time.

Donning her uniform and tying her hair up in a high pony Miranda left for work. f.u.c.k she had no car! Starting to walk Miranda was reliving last night. How could he trap her like this? "What makes you say that? She's pretty enough." Alec loved getting inside information on Miranda.

"Pretty is an understatement, if you know how many guys ask her out? She has declined each and every one. Chris has tried everything, she won't have a bar of it. She did say though that if she were going to date that Chris would be the best candidate. But that's it. Known her for over a year and nothing. Not one date. Oh except when I forced her on a double date, guy I was with had a friend who fell for Mira I begged her and she gave in. It was awkward as h.e.l.l, she didn't let him touch her or dance with her or even buy her a drink. That was the last time I forced her to date, she looked so scared and sad somehow."

"Wow, and she never told you about her life?" Alec was prying and Toni was a f.u.c.king talker.

"Not much, her parents died a while back. Um actually come to think of it I don't really know much about her at all. But I do know she is the sweetest funniest and most caring person I know."

All this talk about Miranda was getting Alec aroused again he grabbed Toni and flipped her over. She laughed loving it, he f.u.c.ked her while fantasying about Miranda.

Finally reaching the diner Miranda signed in and got to work. Filling up sauces, salt and the pepper shakers. Bringing the chairs down, wiping tables and sorting out the cakes. Putting the open sign up Miranda got stuck into her work. Customers came in slowly by the time it was lunch time Miranda was run off her feet.

"Sam you really need to hire more waitresses," her boss snorted and turned away. What an a.s.shole he was, never ever appreciating her, always having a sulk about something or another.

"Sure thing Hun," she poured the biker another coffee and heard him whistled as she walked away.

Working all day Miranda was exhausted. It was near closing time and Miranda hated the fact that she would need to walk home. Her feet ached. "Come one Miranda we don't have all day." Sam the f.u.c.k was on her case again.

"Yep I'm closing." Finally she finished up and left for the day. Walking home Miranda wasn't sure how today would play out. Not a word from Alec or Toni. Still it was nice to be home. Throwing off her clothes Miranda jumped straight in the shower to wipe the greasiness of her day. Finis.h.i.+ng off Miranda dried herself threw on a singlet and shorts and went to lay on the sofa.

What was he up to? Miranda really didn't know what he expected her to do if he was going to marry Toni. What role would she have in his life? Thinking about her dress fitting tomorrow and dreading it, Miranda fell asleep.

"Mira open up! Mira!" Miranda woke to Toni banging on the door and screaming. Quickly making her way she opened the door trying to s.h.i.+eld her eyes from the light. "Okay calm down Toni f.u.c.k it's too early for you!"

"Well even though you're a grouch in the morning we bought you breakfast." We! Oh f.u.c.k no! She looked pa.s.sed Toni to see Alec looking her up and down with his eyes turning almost black. She looked at her attire and cringed. Cotton shorts that barely covered her a.s.s and a grey cotton singlet that outlined her breast to the detail.

"s.h.i.+t! Seriously Toni some warning would be nice!" Miranda knew she snapped at Toni but really bringing Alec here knowing how Miranda walks around her house.

"Touchy! If you looked at your phone you'd know we tried to call you." She felt bad for las.h.i.+ng out.

"I'm sorry Toni. I've misplaced my phone. Look come in, please I'll just change." Alec raised an eyebrow at her as she went to her room and put on less revealing clothes.

Alec sat next to Toni stroking her hair. "Don't be upset baby she was caught off guard," he kissed her tenderly on her lips. As Miranda walked into the living room he broke the kiss. Miranda's face was flushed, clearly not liking this picture.

"Well I'm famished what did you bring?" She was trying to act like the kiss didn't affect her but she knew she was failing miserably. She found it so hard to see them together. Miranda had watched Alec have his pleasure with other women, kissing other women there came a point where he was bringing a new girl everyday while Miranda heard them f.u.c.king. So it wasn't new to her, but with Toni it was a different sense of loss altogether.

"Croissants! Your favorites! Even chocolate croissants." Miranda faked a smile.

"You're the best Toni! Hey you know I'm not a morning person sorry about the outburst," feeling a little guilty at her reaction earlier Miranda was trying to make it up to her friend."

"I know what your like! Feel sorry for the guy that's going to end up with you." Toni teased.

"I'll make a fresh pot of coffee," with that Miranda hurried into the kitchen. She choked back a sob. He really did love Toni, why couldn't he have loved her like that? Why not her? Miranda felt the tears sliding down her face. Why did he need to show his affection in front of Miranda?

Wiping her tears grabbing a tray with the coffees and plates Miranda headed back to them. Sitting with his arms wrapped around Toni, suddenly Miranda was finding it very hard to concentrate.

"That's yours Toni, one sugar and white, and that's yours Alec no sugar and black." Handing their coffee Miranda took a seat opposite to them.

"How did you know Alejandro has it that way?" Toni said through bites of her croissant.

"Oh um I guess the day we were waiting for road service, we felt like coffee and he must have told me how he liked it." Miranda drew in a breath and quickly started eating the chocolate croissant so she didn't have to talk.

"Good memory." Alec's voice always made her heart pound in her chest.

"Okay the thing is Miranda Alec and I would like for you to spend Christmas at his place. It's a little far and you would need to travel but we will arrange everything for you. Two weeks with us, it's your holiday leave and I guess I'm not comfortable starting my new life alone. It was Alec's suggestion so don't for a second think you would be intruding." Was he serious? Did his torment never cease?

"That's so sweet guys really but I've decided to work through the holiday. Sam needs me," please drop the topic please oh please!

"Miranda Sam is a pig who for some reason loves to give you a hard time. Swear to G.o.d Alejandro he has it in for Miranda! He asked her out once she said no and from then on he works her to the bone. Anywhere he is its always Miranda get this or Miranda do that! He's ego was crushed."

Shut the h.e.l.l up Toni! Please stop f.u.c.king talking in front of Alec.

"Is that so? Maybe I should have a word with this Sam." Alec's eyes darkened and Miranda was about to lose her s.h.i.+t.

"It's not that bad Toni he's just overworked and understaffed. I need this job you know that. So I'm sorry but I'll have to decline the offer. Maybe next time." Not looking at Alec Miranda drank her coffee.

"I'm really getting the feeling like you don't want to be around me anymore, just because I'm getting married doesn't mean we can't stay friends Mira! I need you in my life and Alejandro is trying his best to keep us together and you reject every opportunity to be with me!" Toni started crying. Miranda closed her eyes holding back her tears. Alec was comforting Toni stroking her hair that was now on his shoulder. Miranda felt her world crumble around her.

Alec was staring so intensely at Miranda trying to read her. She was taking deep breathes trying to keep it together. Opening her eyes she stared back at him and it seemed at that moment there was n.o.body else in the world. Her eyes were pleading with him to end this. Not by a long shot Miranda not by a long shot!

"Ssshhhh it's okay Toni, I'm sure Miranda didn't mean to make you feel so disconnected from her. Isn't that right Miranda?"

"Toni honey, I'm overworked and I'm stressing I'll screw up at the wedding. I want it to be perfect for you but I can't stop my life because you are about to embark on the next journey of your life. I love you bubs you know that. Please don't think for a minute I don't want you to be happy. I just can't be where you are at, not yet anyway."

"What happened to you Mira? Why are you always so closed off to me, who hurt you?" Alec stared directly into her eyes waiting to see how she would reply.

Not knowing how to answer that she faked a smile "Why would you say that? I'm jealous is all... You got it all... Now if you'll excuse me I'll go get ready for the dress fitting." With that Miranda hurried into her room where she shut the door and broke down. Her tears refused to stop.

Next few hours were a nightmare thank G.o.d Miranda had her car back and Alec had left them to finish off for the wedding. Miranda was heartbroken, he was seriously going to marry Toni! How would she cope? At least before he was never really taken but now it was whole different ball game. Alec was getting married to her best friend. How the f.u.c.k did he keep finding new ways to make her miserable? What was worse was how was she going to continue to lie to her best friend?

"Let's lunch it like old times." Toni looked fed up too with wedding arrangements. The wedding was in two days and tonight would be Toni's hen's night that her sister was organizing.

Glad to be able to rest their feet, sitting down once they arrived into a nice looking cafe and ordered their meal.

"I cannot wait for my honeymoon. f.u.c.king Paris here I come! I'm gonna shop till I drop." Miranda felt a pain in her heart. He was taking her to Paris. Great just rub salt in the wound Alec, after you stab and twist it with a knife.

"Sounds nice, how long will you be gone for?"

"I think a month, Alejandro said if we want to stay longer we can." Of course he said that. "Anyway about tonight all we know it's at Flamingo's"

"Wow really Flamingo's isn't that hard to book? How the h.e.l.l did Layla manage that?"

"Alejandro rented out entire club for us! Do you believe it! DJ, drinks and all! We are gonna party hard tonight girlfriend!"

Alec's plan was working like a charm, Miranda was devastated at his relations.h.i.+p with Toni. She was torn between the fear for her best friend and the feelings she had for him. He would f.u.c.king teach her to leave him. Still he was dying to get his c.o.c.k into her tight p.u.s.s.y. Patience Alec... Patience.

Miranda needed to learn her lesson, and until he was certain she had he would continue to love and care for Toni in her presence. Stupid Miranda you never had a f.u.c.king chance. After showering and straightening her hair Miranda was helplessly trying to find something to wear. Nothing fit for a club! She wanted to make the effort for Toni, f.u.c.k her wedding was in two days. After trying on numerous outfits Miranda noticed a s.e.xy little number that she had purchased but never felt comfortable wearing it. Applying makeup Miranda went for the dark smoky eye look giving her eyes the oomph she needed. Soft application of gloss, and a spritz of perfume.

Looking at herself Miranda was pleased with the outcome. At least she could look good even if her insides were as black as the heart she wore.

Reaching the club Miranda found parking and headed towards the club. It was packed with people from the streets trying to get in. "Name?" Asked the bouncer.

"Miranda or Mira Branford!" She had to scream to be heard. He checked his list and opened the rope allowing her access to the club. Miranda had bought Toni a gift voucher for a day spa with the works. She would have the whole day treatment. It cost Miranda a small fortune and that's why she was working so much.

Entering the club Miranda scanned for Toni. It was dark, the lights were frantic and it was loud. Miranda noticed that there were guys here too, that's strange Toni had said Alec had rented the entire club for the night... Maybe she misunderstood, could have been only part of the club.

Finding Toni's sisters in a booth Miranda headed towards them. Hugs and kisses and she was seated next to them. "Another round of drinks." Layla yelled. Geez these girls could hold their alcohol. Miranda didn't want to drink, she hated the taste and she was driving. "Where's Toni?" She yelled so Layla could hear.

"Who knows probably f.u.c.king her stud somewhere!" Okay these girls were clearly drunk. "Let's dance Mira you look f.u.c.king smoking hot! Let's give these guys a show!" Grabbing Miranda's hand Layla dragged her to the dance floor. Miranda loved to dance, her mother loved watching her dance, so she allowed the beat to fill her and started dancing allowing the music to take her away.
