Upon hearing what he said, the usually eloquent Huo Mian bit down on her lips, not sure what to say.
For some reason, she felt sad whenever Su Yu talked to her in such a serious manner.
“Haha, I’m fine, just wanted to drop by and say hi. You should go back to work, I’ll get out of your way now,” Su Yu said as he turned around to leave…
“Su Yu…” Huo Mian suddenly called his name.
“Yeah?” Su Yu turned around with his hands in his pocket, looking incredibly handsome.
“Don’t you like my gla.s.ses? You can have them…” then, she added, “free of charge.”
“It’s okay… no matter how much I like them, they still not mine. Thanks though.” Su Yu smiled. Then, he walked out of Huo Mian’s office.
Huo Mian sat there, a little dazed. Then, she quietly put her gla.s.ses back on and went back to work.
She felt complicated emotions upon seeing Su Yu, especially when he wasn’t joking around.
Truth be told, Huo Mian didn’t want to interact with Su Yu too much, since she thought it’d be best if they kept a safe distance from each other.
Su Yu, however, felt incredibly fulfilled every time he saw Huo Mian; seeing her was the highlight of his entire day…
