Su Yu was having tea at a tea restaurant with Tang Chuan and Wei Liao.
“Little Bean…” Su Yu smiled gently.
“Handsome Su, what are you doing?”
“I’m having tea…”
“Tea? With who? A guy or a girl? Is he short or fat?” Little Bean got a bit nosy.
Before Su Yu could say anything, Tang Chuan said with a smile, “Little Bean, you sure are nosy. Do you want to be a reporter when you grow up?”
“Oh… so Uncle Tang is there…” Little Bean nodded, acting like she was an adult.
“Also your Uncle Wei…” Su Yu added.
“Your future father-in-law… Haha…” Tang Chuan suddenly remembered that joke of Wei Liao’s child marrying one of the twins.
Wei Liao was speechless…
“Uncle Tang, are you so old that you have dementia? You remembered wrong. Uncle Wei is my sister’s future father-in-law, not mine. My future father-in-law is Uncle Gao…” Little Bean corrected.
Tang Chuan: “…”
Wei Liao and Su Yu laughed hysterically.
“I can’t believe how smart kids these days are…” Tang Chuan exclaimed.
“Handsome Su, why haven’t you been over recently?”
“I heard your grandparents came back?” Su Yu drank tea as he continued to chat with Little Bean.
Little Bean smiled mysteriously and said, “Yeah. My grandparents came back from Hawaii. My Auntie also came back.”
*Cough* When Tang Chuan heard Little Bean say “auntie”, he immediately stood up.
He did not realize that Qin Ning came back already. His heart was pounding.
Before Su Yu could say anything, Tang Chuan grabbed over the phone and asked, “Little Bean, did you Auntie come back?”
“Why should I tell you? Are you close with her?” Little Bean pretended to act condescending.
“Little Bean… umm… can you please tell me? I’ll treat you to Haagen-Dazs!” Tang Chuan begged.
Little Bean raised her head up tall and said, “Do I seem like the person that lacks ice cream?”
“You are…”
Little Bean: “…”
“Little Bean, come upstairs. Auntie is giving us presents now. Do you want it or not?” Pudding said. Pudding was not far away and her voice was heard through the phone.
“I do!” Little Bean immediately turned around and ran upstairs.
She remembered to say goodbye to Su Yu. “Captain Su, I’ll chat with you later… I’ll come over to greet Grandpa Su a happy Chinese New Year. Remember to pick us up!”
“Okay, don’t worry…” Su Yu hung up with a smile on his face.
Tang Chuan was not in the mood for tea anymore. Instead, he stood up.
“What? Have you gone nuts?” Wei Liao looked at Tang Chuan as if he was crazy.
“Qin Ning’s back! That’s big news! Why do I know nothing about it?” Tang Chuan sounded like he was wronged.
