To Huo Mian’s surprise, Zhao Qingya didn’t call her but sent her a video clip.In the video, Su Yu was shot in both collarbones but she couldn’t see the shooter.Zhao Qingya’s voice came at the end of the video, “Huo Mian, b.i.t.c.h, you didn’t keep your promise and even investigated us in the States? Seeing Su Yu fall to the ground, Huo Mian’s heart contracted.

Other than Qin Chu, Huo Mian couldn’t think anyone could have connections to investigate in the States so swiftly.
Hearing Huo Mian mention the issue, Qin Chu sighed slightly.
“You finally want to talk with me about it.”
“Hon, I didn’t want to keep it from you…”
Huo Mian tried to explain since she didn’t want her husband to misunderstand her.
“I know it’s not your fault. I heard the phone conversation. Zhao Qingya threatened you and you had no choice.”
“You decoded it so soon…?” Huo Mian knew her conversation had been encrypted. Even though Qin Chu’s hacking skills were good, she was still stunned that he could decode it so fast.
Qin Chu looked at her eyes calmly.
“I must thank Dad for it.”
“Dad?” Huo Mian was surprised.
“Did you call your dad?”
“Yeah.” Huo Mian nodded.
“He noticed something was not right and contacted me. I was having trouble decoding the phone record and he helped me.”
“I see… Dad is very good.” Huo Mian understood suddenly.
“You can’t keep it a secret anymore. Mian, I know how important Su Yu is to you… I don’t want him dead, either. After all, we’re deeply indebted to the Su Family and I’m not an ungrateful man. But please don’t shoulder it alone. Let’s work together and get Su Yu back, okay?”
Qin Chu didn’t blame Huo Mian for keeping it from him; he just soothed her gently since he knew how hard the whole thing was to her.
Hearing his words, Hou Mian burst into tears; terrified, Qin Chu moved over and held her tightly in his arms.
