There was only one five-star hotel under GK, and it was named after GK.
Huo Mian had never thought that Qin Chu would say he wanted to go to a hotel.
She was stunned, but she was too embarra.s.sed to ask.
After all, besides the two of them, there was still the chauffeur.

Huo Mian looked around and sighed. What was Qin Chu doing?
In fact, Qin Chu had unfinished business.
He was pa.s.sing by Second High School and happened to see her waiting for the bus.
Qin Chu knew that the bus she often took had an accident, so he brought her along.
He had to meet a client on behalf of his father for a business deal.

“I had to help my dad with something. Are you hungry?”
“No, I just ate with Lingling.”
“Okay, I’ll take you home then.”
Qin Chu quickly put the snack in his mouth and took a big gulp of coffee.
She could tell that he was tired.
“You haven’t eaten?”
“Mhm.” Qin Chu nodded honestly.
“Seriously? You’re just a student… why are you acting like a businessman?” Huo Mian looked at him with a complicated expression.
“This is our family business. If I don’t do it, my father will suffer more.”
Upon hearing what Qin Chu said, Huo Mian thought that he was quite sensible. At least he knew how to share his father’s burden.
“Then I’m not in a hurry to go back… Why don’t you eat first?”
She calculated that it would take at least an hour to return home.
It was already so late and he hadn’t eaten yet, so Huo Mian’s heart suddenly softened.
“Sure, eat with me.”
Qin Chu’s tone was very formal, but it sounded like he was acting cute.
Just as Huo Mian was about to refuse, he asked, “Do you like spicy food?”
“Huh?”
“Can you eat spicy food?”

Qin Chu brought Huo Mian to the Chinese restaurant on the top floor, which was a Sichuan restaurant.
The decor was very grand and there were dazzling crystal lights everywhere.

“What do you like to eat?” Qin Chu asked.

But the overbearing fellow said, “Make a brown sugar glutinous rice cake for my friend.”
