When Su Mo heard the voices of the men from the Dragon Tribe, he was speechless.

“Teacher, are you unable to partic.i.p.ate in the Fight?” Chi’er asked Su Mo, looking disappointed. She was hoping that Su Mo could partic.i.p.ate in the Fight so that she could witness his skills.

“One can’t partic.i.p.ate if their cultivation level is not up there!” Su Mo said as he shook his head. He did not mention that he could not partic.i.p.ate and merely pointed out that one could not partic.i.p.ate if their cultivation level did not meet the requirements. Su Mo was still hoping to have a breakthrough in the next two weeks although it seemed quite impossible to do so.

He sighed and turned to Si Kongyan and asked, “Si Kongyan, who are the people that the Dragon Tribe will be sending out to partic.i.p.ate in the Thousand Selection Fight?”

“Other than you, they are Long Teng, Long Yu, Long Shuangshuang, Long Yi, Long Zhong…!” Si Kongyan told Su Mo the names of the nine people who would be partic.i.p.ating. He continued and said, “If you are unable to take part, Long Gang will replace you!”

“How are their strengths?” Su Mo asked. He looked at Long Shuangshuang and saw that she had reached Rank 5 Lower True G.o.d Realm.

“Other than Long Teng, Long Shuangshuang, and Long Yu, the lowest realm among the rest of them is at Rank 8. Long Yi and Long Zhong are at Rank 9 True G.o.d Realm!” Si Kongyan replied.

“Hmm!” Su Mo nodded. They had a good pool of people but they were nothing compared to the other Holy Courts.

There were 10 Young Masters in the Deity Plane and they were the Favored Ones. Their talents were superior among the Favored Ones.

Long Yu from the Dragon Tribe, who was known as Young Master Yu, did not have a high cultivation level. He was only a Rank 6 Middle True G.o.d and he was less powerful than Helan Shang.

According to the rules of the Thousand Selection Fight, one might not have an edge even if they had a high cultivation level, but it would definitely help him in some ways.

Footsteps were heard at that instant. Everyone turned around and saw four people strolling toward them.

The one walking in front was Tun Xu Dragon Emperor. The other three were Long Teng, First Elder Long Chang, and Second Elder Long Bai.

“Greetings, Dragon Emperor! Greetings, Firmament Archosaur, First Elder, and Second Elder!”

When the people saw the four of them, they greeted and bowed to them.

“You may dispense with the formalities!”

Tun Xu Dragon Emperor came to the Square and waved his sleeve. He looked at the people and his gaze fell on Su Mo.

Not only him, but the First Elder, Second Elder, and Long Teng were looking at Su Mo.

When they saw that Su Mo was only at Rank 4 Advanced True G.o.d Realm, they secretly sighed in their hearts. Even the Dragon Emperor felt a bit disappointed.

Regardless of Su Mo’s ident.i.ty and att.i.tude toward the Dragon Tribe, it would be a loss to the Dragon Tribe if Su Mo was unable to take part in the Thousand Selection Fight.

Su Mo was silent and he looked indifferent when he saw the four of them looking at him.

After pondering for a while, the Dragon Emperor looked at the people and said, “The First Elder and Second Elder will be in charge of bringing you to Chaotic Holy Court for the Thousand Selection Fight. Those of you who are taking part in the Fight must do your best to fight for the right to change the position of the array.”

“Dragon Emperor, don’t worry. We will win the fight!”

“We will bring glory to Dragon Tribe!”

A few people who would be partic.i.p.ating in the Thousand Selection Fight spoke with much confidence.

Su Mo knitted his brows when he realized that the Dragon Emperor would not be attending the Fight with them. However, he felt relieved as the First Elder and Second Elder were Advanced Supreme Beings. With the two Advanced Supreme Beings traveling with them, he would be safe.

“Great!”

The Dragon Emperor nodded. He looked at Su Mo and said with a sigh, “Su Mo, I wanted to let you partic.i.p.ate but your cultivation level is too low. You shall go as a spectator!”

“Yes!” Su Mo nodded. He did not say another word as the Dragon Emperor was not the one to come up with the rules. Thus, it was useless for him to put forth any request to the Dragon Emperor.

“Go!” The Dragon Emperor waved his sleeve at the people and left.

“Let’s set off for the Chaotic Holy Court!” The First Elder stepped forth and told the disciples as he took the lead to walk out of the mansion.

The disciples followed suit and a big group of people left the mansion.

Not many people from the Dragon Tribe had headed for the Thousand Selection Fight. There were only 110 people, including the two elders.

Soon, the group of them walked out of Dragon City. First Elder Long Chang took out a golden Dragon Scale and infused his Dragon Power into it. The Dragon Scale expanded with the wind and it became gigantic.

Everyone flew into the giant Dragon Scale and headed toward the Chaotic Holy Court.

The First Elder activated the Dragon Scale and it traveled at great speed. It pierced the sky like lightning and disappeared into the horizon in an instant.

Su Mo sat cross-legged on the Dragon Scale and continued to work on his cultivation after he had swallowed some Elixirs.

Although he did not have much time left, he did not want to give up. He was still trying to break through to Rank 5 True G.o.d Realm.

“Brother Su, you are conscientious!”

A good-looking youth from the Dragon Tribe said as he looked at Su Mo. He curled his lips into a smile and said, “It seems to me that you are still working hard to break through to Rank 5.”

The youth was in a white robe and his eyes were bright like the stars. He looked elegant, and he was none other than Long Yu, Young Master Yu.

“That’s right!” Su Mo glanced at Long Yu and shut his eyes.

“It’s useless for you to do so. You won’t be able to advance to Rank 5 within such a short period of time!” Long Yu shook his head and continued, saying, “Without you, our Dragon Tribe will still stand a high chance of winning the Fight!”

Long Yu was full of confidence in himself. Only a few people from the other Holy Courts were powerful and he did not feel threatened by them.

However, Su Mo ignored Long Yu and immersed himself in his cultivation.

Although Su Mo had ignored Long Yu, not everybody did so. Chi’er immediately said, “Huh! My Teacher’s talent is higher than yours. How can you be sure that he will not have a breakthrough?”

“You…!” Long Yu’s face darkened when he heard what Chi’er had said. He replied coldly, “Ignorant girl! You are so naïve!”

Long Yu did not have any regard for Su Mo. Although Su Mo was powerful and he had great talent, Long Yu believed that he would not be able to have a breakthrough.

He observed Su Mo’s aura and found that it was steady. There was no sign of him being on the verge of breaking through the realm.

Thus, he felt that Chi’er trusted Su Mo blindly.

“My Teacher is powerful. He will have a breakthrough!” Chi’er replied firmly.

Long Yu smiled coldly and shook his head. He did not want to waste his time arguing with an ignorant girl.

The rest of the disciples looked at Su Mo and they knew that he was trying to break through to Rank 5 before the Thousand Selection Fight. Once he had done so, he would be able to take part in the Fight.

However, it seemed impossible to have a breakthrough within two weeks.

Time pa.s.sed quickly as Su Mo immersed himself in his cultivation.

The Dragon Scale traveled at great speed and it entered the border of Chaotic Holy Court within eight days.

Many races lived in the Chaotic Holy Court. There was the demon race, foreign race, and the human race. However, the human race was made up a higher percentage of them.

The ruler of the Chaotic Holy Court headed to the Chaotic Tribe.

There were not many people in the Chaotic Tribe. There was only a handful of them due to their inheritance.
