The one who raised a piercing scream was the Earl's daughter in love with the Great Priest's son, or perhaps the childhood friend of the male student.

The guard replied to the Prince while holding down the student that was still rampant.

The difference from the normal game was that those caught by “it” would turn into living dead and join the ranks of “it” and as the time went on, the number of “its” would increase at accelerating rate.
1 person to 2, 2 to 4, 4 to 8…

Among the madness and despair where the living dead kept on increasing geometrically, Alessandra stood alone at a place unrelated to the chaos around.
It was an unexpected benefit due to the surrounding people moving away when she was denunciated by the Prince.

“That being said…it's certain that escape door can't be used.”

This thing won't be of any use in the real battle. But, right now is an emergency. It's still much better than not having anything at all.
She pulled out the sword from the splendorous sheath and lightly swung it around. As expected, it was light. And the balance wasn't good either.

Nonetheless, the whoos.h.i.+ng sound of the point of a sword slas.h.i.+ng through the air was pleasant no matter how many times she listened to it.

“Well then…I guess this will be the first time… I slash my cla.s.smates?”

Alessandra, who held the saber at the shoulder's length, smiled ferociously, letting her canines show.
It might not have been a resigned smile of a young lady who had been chased by the living dead, but rather the smile of a young carnivorous beast that was itching to test the sharpness of its fangs.
