Chapter 1 . 2: Leaping Off the Cliff

Seeing that Duanmu Xi was not even uttering a single sound, discontentment flashed in Duanmu Qing’s eyes . She crouched herself down and grabbed up a bunch of Duanmu Xi’s soft luxurious hair . “Do you know why your meridians are all blocked? I drugged you . ”

Duanmu Xi’s fists clenched up tightly, her eyes filled with pure hatred .

The corners of Duanmu Qing’s lips lifted in a gleeful smile . [Finally a reaction?]

“Isn’t it great? With all your meridians broken, you do not have to dream of unclogging them or anything . It’s no use . You will forever remain a piece of trash . Forever and ever… . . ”Duanmu Qing’s vicious face looked exceptionally malevolent .

“Mother… . . Father… . . Avenge me… . . ” Duanmu Xi glared coldly at Duanmu Qing, pausing at every word .

Duanmu Qing’s face filled up with glee, like she was already sitting upon the seat she had always been dreaming of .

Duanmu Xi suddenly spat a gollop of spit onto Duanmu Qing’s face, interrupting her beautiful illusion .

A green vein bulged up at Duanmu Qing’s temple . Wiping the spit off her face, a surge of murder rose up within her as she sent Duanmu Xi flying with a kick .

At the moment that Duanmu Xi was sent flying out from that kick, she broke into a smile .

Even if she was to die, she would definitely not want to die in Duanmu Qing’s hands .

Seeing Duanmu Xi suddenly picking herself up to run away, Duanmu Qing immediately realized that she’s been had, and her face turned into one filled with regret as she gritted her teeth tightly together .

“Chase her down . ”

At the edge of the cliff, a young white clothed girl stood facing the wind, where the surging waves of a boundless sea beat and lurched ferociously .

“Duanmu Xi . You’re at the edge of a cliff . You have nowhere else to run . Be good and just accept your death!”

Upon seeing Duanmu Xi, Duanmu Qing was seen to heave a visible sigh of relief .

Duanmu Xi looked at Duanmu Qing and the group of dark robed men, the corners of her lips lifting up .

All of a sudden, she sprung up and leapt into the boundless sea behind .

“Duanmu Qing, even with my death, you will never become the Crown Princess… . . ”

The mournful wail reverberated clearly and heavily within the hearts of every single person on the cliff, that did not fade or disperse for a very long while .
