Lu Zhaoyang immediately recalled the power cut incident in her room last night. How silly of her to think that it was just a normal power cut.
“Did you cut off the power to my room?” Lu Zhaoyang looked at the snickering maidservant and asked coldly.
“What? I wouldn’t do such a thing!” The maidservant humphed indignantly. “Don’t think that you’re a lady anymore, come join us and go to work!”
Lu Zhaoyang swept a cold glance at all the maidservants. She ignored their demand and walked away.
Behind her, one of the maidservants said, “Hey, she’s ignoring us! If old Mrs Huo found out that you are being obnoxious, you will be doing more than just shoveling the snow!”
Lu Zhaoyang thought about her lengthy time spent around Huo Yunting that would have pacified her, but she had underestimated herself. She had a formidable temper!
She stubbornly ignored the threats from behind her and went to the kitchen.
Huo Yunting watched her leave from the second floor. He took note of the maidservants who taunted her and thinly smiled.
He went straight to Lu Zhaoyang’s room and tested the freezing cold temperature inside.
Hah! How dare they demand his wife to sweep the snow and cut off the power to her room!

He studied the neatly made bed and wondered how she managed to sleep last night.
He managed to finish his work last night but could only fly in later in the morning because of the blizzard.
Only the security guard at the door knew of his return.
Lu Zhaoyang finished her breakfast. She did not want to shovel the snow, but she did feel like taking a walk outside.
This was the first heavy snow she had seen this year.
It was very cold outside. She could feel the difference on her first step outside, but otherwise nothing was amiss.
She strolled leisurely and admired the snow all around her.
It felt wonderful to step on the snow. The white scenery around her was almost like a dream.
Suddenly, she felt something hit her from behind. A huge s...o...b..ll slammed into her back and then scattered into bits of snow.
The s...o...b..ll was packed with force. She turned to see who it was but another s...o...b..ll immediately crashed into her chest.
She stumbled backward and fell down onto the snowy ground.
“Lu Zhaoyang, you’re so weak. Come and shovel the snow, it’s good exercise!”
“Hahaha! That’s right! You fell down from just a s...o...b..ll. Do you think you’re some kind of weak young miss?”
They chortled loudly, unaware of how their thickset bodies compared to Lu Zhaoyang’s slender figure.
Lu Zhaoyang was figuring out how to stand since her legs were buried under the snow.
“Surely you can stand up by yourself, right? Haha!”
The maidservant threw another s...o...b..ll at Lu Zhaoyang, but the latter was prepared this time.
She turned herself around with all she got and pulled her legs out of the snow in the process.
