Lu Zhaoyang opened the drawer as she smiled mockingly. “I don’t mind getting the cert. We can even go to the registry office again to get another stamp!”

“What stamp?”

“A stamp for divorce!” Lu Zhaoyang put away her things in the drawer and slammed it shut.

Huo Yunting rested one arm against the dresser and sighed. Why was she still clinging onto the idea of getting a divorce?

He inched closer and said, “If you want to play the game of divorce, I’m all in. Just remember what I said before. We can get divorced, but I will always marry you again. My bride will always be you, Ms Lu Zhaoyang.”

“…” She was never a match for Huo Yunting when it came to shamelessness!

One step back from her, one step forward from him — they always maintained a tiny s.p.a.ce between them.

When there was nowhere else to go, Lu Zhaoyang crossed her hands in front of her chest in defense. She glared at his faintly smiling face with much expression, but really she wanted to just kick him out of the house!

He spoke again. “If you really want to play, I’ll play too, but the government might just put us in jail.”

His blithe disregard for the future made Lu Zhaoyang lose confidence. She knew that she could not fight him.

“Are you so free today? Didn’t you say you did not have time to eat? Why are you still bantering with me?”

“Weekend is for me to rest at home. If you do not have plans, I have a recreational activity I think we can try.” Huo Yunting slowly slid his gaze toward the huge bed beside her.

Recreational activity?

“Go away, I’m not interested!”

She did not want to be with him, much less be touched by him.

“Leave me alone and don’t disturb me from unpacking!”

She knew that he was here only to mess with her. He would be happy as long as she was unhappy — what a freak!

“Do you want to unpack me as well?” The way she looked at him, like she wanted to punch him but held back desperately, made him want to tease her even more.

Lu Zhaoyang stared at him. Suddenly, she raised a leg and kicked on his knee.

Things did not work out.

He caught her foot easily and she could not free herself.

“Huo Yunting, let me go!”

“You were being violent to me. Stopping you is an act of self defense.” He liked the touch of her skin. It felt so smooth and soft. The thought of Huo Chen not given the chance to appreciate this made him feel even better.

Lu Zhaoyang glared at him and raised her voice. “So what if I was being violent to you? You’re a man, so go to court and sue me. I will plead guilty and may the judge grant us an instant divorce!”

She could hardly balance herself with only one leg, but Huo Yunting had no intention of letting her go just yet.

“Ah…”

Suddenly, Huo Yunting pulled her foot. She fell and landed on him.

His hands moved quickly to her thighs to support her. His face moved closer to her own blus.h.i.+ng face as he grinned. “A little bit of fighting and arguing enriches our love life. I wouldn’t have the heart to sue you, right?”

Their bodies pressed against each other. Lu Zhaoyang was facing his chest. She realized that his gray s.h.i.+rt had a few b.u.t.tons loosened, exposing his solid and masculine abs underneath. The warmth radiating from his body felt closer and closer.

She began to punch his chest. “Don’t be a d*ck, let me go!”
