“Tell me, isn’t it that you asked Su Cheng to call me?” Huo Yunting lowered his head and got close to her with a dubious smile. “Long time no see. It is a pleasant surprise to meet in such a way. As long as the mysterious lead band member is not you, it would be a perfect evening.”

Going home with her after dinner and doing things that he had been long thinking of to do would be even more perfect.

“I am not in the mood.” Lu Zhaoyang quickly denied. “I will have my dinner and leave. You tell him that I have forgiven him and don’t call me again.”

“Okay.”

Huo Yunting smirked and seemed to be in a good mood. He watched her every move.

Lu Zhaoyang felt uncomfortable with the stare. She quietly slipped her hand under the table and pinched him.

“Can you please don’t stare at me anymore?”

Someone not only did not listen but got worse. He got so close that he almost licked the back of her ear.

“Are you expecting me to return the favor?”

Lu Zhaoyang hemmed and continued with her meal while trying to look calm. “This is a public place. Please behave yourself.”

“Then why did you pinch and tease me? You are the one not serious in the first place.”

While speaking, his warm palm was already on her lap.

Lu Zhaoyang clasped the chopsticks in her hand and shot him a look. “There are surveillance cameras here.”

“Do you mean we will make out at home when there are no surveillance cameras?”

She could not find a word to respond but glared at him. He was an expert in distorting her meaning.

“Silence means consent. I am looking forward to it tonight.” He was reluctant to go away from her body. “You are so delicious that I wish I could eat you now.”

Lu Zhaoyang did not say a word the entire time, fearing that Huo Yunting might go nuts.

After the emcee finished the opening speech, the prelude sounded and the performance finally began.

She said that she would leave after finis.h.i.+ng her dinner. Was she the new lead band member?
