Xiao Tu's mother looked at Cheng Zhi Yan standing in front of her and wondered if she had properly heard what he had just said, “Pick up Xiao Tu?”
“Hmm…” Cheng Zhiyan nodded. He was wearing a white s.h.i.+rt, his outline reflected in the soft moonlight from the sky, and illuminating his beautiful and handsome face.
Xiao Tu blinked her eyes and looked at Cheng Zhi Yan, figuring out that her ChangZhi gege was really good-looking.
“Zhou Ling.” Zhou Yue poked her head out from the door next door and laughingly said at her. “Just let Xiao Tu come over and play for a while. Aren't you preparing for the your exams lately? The Xiao Tu's father is not at home. You surely can't study with just you watching Xiao Tu. Let the two children play. You can just be at ease and study.”
"This littlle brat is very naughty. I'm afraid she'll make trouble for you…” Xiao Tu's mother held her in her arms, and said helplessly to Zhou Yue.
“It's all right. I'll watch her for you, and she can play with her with YanYan.” Zhou Yue waved her hand and said to the other mother.
“There's no need to stand on ceremony with me.”
"All right.”
Xiao Tu's mother squatted down, put Xiao Tu on the ground, and told her to follow ChengZhi Yan home.
Zhou Yue stood at the door, smiling as Cheng Zhiyan led the hopping rabbit. The tall and short figures, with their backs to the moonlight, resembled two saplings emerging from the quiet wilderness. They supported each other and depended on each other, bathed in the suns.h.i.+ne and weathered storms and rains together.
For a moment, she suddenly felt that if the two children could be together in the future, it would be good.
After all, her son is so handsome, and Xiao Tu is so cute. Looking carefully, there was similar features and the more she looked m, the more they seemed to look like a pair of husband and wife.
(TN: similar facial features means you're predestined to marry together)
When Xiao Tu and Cheng Zhiyan walked into the house, Zhou Yue reached out and closed the door. Then she looked down at the bunch of things in Xiao Tu's arms and wondered, “What are you holding, Xiao Tu?”
"This is my milk and bottle.” Xiao Tu saw that she had arrived at her destination successfully and quickly put the milk and bottle in her arms down. "This is what I drink before going to bed.”
She then pointed to the small, palm-sized teddy bear in her arms and said, “This is my good friend Bear. I sleep with it every day.”
“Oh…” Zhou Yue nodded understandingly, then smiled wickedly at Xiao Tu and asked, “Didn't you say you were going to sleep with ChangZhi gege today? The what about your good friend Bear? He can't sleep with you. Will he be sad?”
Xiao Tu raised her head and looked at Zhou Yue helplessly. Her voice was clear and crisp. “Aunt Zhou, it's a fake bear. It's not human. It won't be sad.”
"Uh…”
Okay, Zhou Yong didn't expect that children are so smart nowadays.
She pondered carefully, if her son had spoken so clearly when he was three years old. He had often used some repet.i.tive words to express his opinions. Sure enough, the little girl is smarter and cuter than the little boy!
Zhou Yun could not help but squat down and squeeze Xiao Tu on her soft, fleshy little face, then patted her head with satisfaction and said, “Go and play with ChangZhi gege."
