Li Yuan listened, and then frowned and said, “Miss Shu, go to the Shu Pavilion right away and explain to His Highness . His Highness thought something had happened to you, and just now he’s sent someone to look for you . ”

Shu Nuan understood he wanted her to leave right away . She hadn’t expected that Sheng Qianmo would’ve come back so soon…

She had no other choice than to nod and go to the Shu Pavilion .

The door was half open . Shu Nuan tapped on it and said in a low voice, “Your Highness . ”

 It took a long time for the man inside to reply .

 “Come in . ”

Shu Nuan came in and saw Sheng Qianmo sitting on the couch, reading her notebook again . He looked up at her and asked, “Where did you go?”

Shu Nuan repeated what she’d told Li Yuan .

Sheng Qianmo wrinkled his brows, and asked, “Why didn’t you wait for This Prince outside the city?”

Shu Nuan lowered her head, still silent .

“Waited for too long?” 

Sheng Qianmo knew he’d had to deal with unexpected emergencies in his camp, so realising his own unpunctuality caused him to ease his tone a little .

 “Nuan dares not . I just… Your Highness is too busy, so to avoid wasting your time, your servant returned to the city . ”

“An unexpected situation kept me busy today . ”
 

Sheng Qianmo had been a bit angry . After all, Shu Nuan had run away without saying a word . He’d likely been anxious, but now that he saw the little thing standing in front of him, he considered that she’d perhaps done it because he’d kept her waiting for too long .

He looked at Shu Nuan and said, “It’s not too late to go to the w.a.n.gyue Forest . ”

She thought about how he’d first accompanied Ji Xili, and now he’d come back to coax her .

Sheng Qianmo was aware of how she was feeling, but he still hadn’t heard her begging for mercy . He stood behind the girl, staring at her full and round bottom .
