She stared back at him.

“Does she have anything to do with you?” Ji Xili asked with an even colder voice.

It was no wonder she thought so. The last time she'd come to Ji Xubai, she'd seen his imprudence. He was able to mess with his own students in his own library. Shu Nuan was also one of his students. Most importantly, she'd heard so many bad remarks about Shu Nuan, and yet Ji Xubai had spoken up for her. It was natural to think like she did.

And if it was true, she really didn't know how to mention such a thing to Sheng Qianmo.

Ji Xubai's smile deepened, and he continued, “It doesn't matter to me. Just go ahead and tell him. Maybe after you say it, he can put his heart on you.”

“Ji Xubai, don't speak nonsense!” 

Ji Xili didn't know what to do with her brother, and so she gave him a fierce stare and turned around and left.
