With Yi Tianyun’s leaders.h.i.+p, all cultivators were busy destroying the Slaughter G.o.d Tower’s Array Core! Since most of them wasn’t a G.o.d Rune Master, it was harder to destroy it! 

“Now, the last one!” Yi Tianyun said as he stood in front of the last Array Core. Slaughter G.o.d Tower had many Array Cores that served as both protection and power generator for the tower. Everyone did their best to destroy the Array Cores that sweats were dripping from their foreheads. They didn’t care about the Slaughter G.o.d anger anymore as they feared Yi Tianyun more.

With the destruction of the last Array Core, the entire Slaughter G.o.d Tower shook and eventually collapsed. Once the entire tower collapsed, a thick murderous aura was emitted from below the tower! 

The cultivators immediately stepped aside as they didn’t want to come close to the murderous aura, but once it dissipated, they immediately checked the pit where the tower once stood.

They were all shocked as they saw countless corpses, rotten and fres.h.!.+ 

“Corpses?” Yi Tianyun said as he looked down to the pit. But it didn’t really surprise him as he knows that the murderous aura came from something like this. Without this mountain pile of corpses, there was no way the Slaughter G.o.d Tower could generate so much murderous aura.

This was also the reason why the Slaughter G.o.d Divine Generals attracted people to come here. It was for generating the murderous aura and taking over their body with Body Possession. Nevertheless, Yi Tianyun didn’t know how many people had died here, but it would be best to say that most of them were Star Monarch. 

The Slaughter G.o.d only welcomed cultivator with Star Monarch cultivation base after all. 

“Burn to ashes!” Yi Tianyun said coldly as he threw his flames to the pile of corpses and burned them down completely. The other cultivators were creeped out by the entire situation. They knew that many cultivators died inside Slaughter G.o.d Tower, but they didn’t know that those cultivators were being collected and used to generate murderous aura like this.

“If Slaughter G.o.d knew what happened here, I guess he would chase me down!” Yi Tianyun said as he looked at the burned bodies. The Slaughter G.o.d must have worked hard to build this tower to preserve his Divine Generals, but now it was razed to the ground!

“He would surely want you dead!” Nian Ciyu said with a smile on her face. “Slaughter G.o.d Tower has existed for so many years, and many people wanted to compete with it, but none wanted it destroyed! Now, you’ve just accomplished something that others couldn’t even imagine doing. Nevertheless, it was for a good cause.” Nian Ciyu said confidently.

She didn’t like that the Slaughter G.o.d Tower attract people for Body Possession too, she thought that it was the worst thing that could happen to a cultivator.

“Well, if he really wants to hunt me down, I am not scared! Besides, how would he identify us later?” Yi Tianyun said as he pointed to his face that wasn’t his real one. Everyone here wore a mask to conceal their ident.i.ty, so it would be hard to recognise them later.

“You can say that’s the real purpose of wearing this mask!” Nian Ciyu said casually. “The name Slaughter G.o.d doesn’t really bode well for anyone, and thus, for safety precaution, everyone started to come here with a face mask to hide their ident.i.ty.” Nian Ciyu explained.

“That is certainly a wise decision.” Yi Tianyun said with a smile on his face. He no longer cared about the Slaughter G.o.d Divine Generals as they had nothing to do with him anymore.

His side quest was immediately completed as he already finished what it entailed, but it wasn’t enough to level him up anymore.

For now, he didn’t know where the Slaughter G.o.d was, so he couldn’t immediately finish the quest. The reward was tempting, so Yi Tianyun knew that the Slaughter G.o.d ought to be a force to be reckoned with! It was probably wise not to provoke this Slaughter G.o.d right now! 

It might be best for Yi Tianyun to think about the G.o.d Domain’s War of Ascension first and join the 2^nd Grade G.o.d Domain instead of staying on the 1^st Grade G.o.d Domain. 

“Thank you very much for your help, friend! If there is nothing else we should do here, we shall take our leave.” A Heaven Monarch cultivator said to Yi Tianyun. He wanted to see what Yi Tianyun had to say and his att.i.tude towards any of them. It would be the worst if Yi Tianyun decided to attack them when they were about to leave later.

“That’s alright, you are free to leave! I am not a murderer, I will not randomly kill anyone on a whim!” Yi Tianyun said indifferently.

“Alright, if you have time later, we will welcome you to our G.o.d Domain!” The Heaven Monarch cultivator said with a smile on his face before bidding their farewell to Yi Tianyun and left, still looking back towards Yi Tianyun for time to time as they saw Yi Tianyun as the Slaughter G.o.d himself!
