“If so many cultivators are troubled by the Evil Spirit Race’s action, why not join forces and get rid of them once and for all?” Yi Tianyun wondered. “Or better yet, you can ask a more powerful G.o.d Domain faction to get rid of them!” Yi Tianyun wondered. It was just confusing as he knew getting rid of the Evil Spirit Race was the solution. 

“The reason is relatively simple, the place that the Evil Spirit Race mainly invaded is the Mortal Domain, and their territory is relatively far from any other faction too. You see, no law in G.o.d Domain stated that we must punish any G.o.d Domain that committed inhumane crimes, so joining forces is not really a thing here.” Nian Ciyu said helplessly. “Besides, the higher-grade G.o.d Domain didn’t care about the Mortal Domain at all.” Nian Ciyu said with an exhausted sigh.

This was the reality! Although it might sound cruel, it was the truth! The higher-grade G.o.d Domains wouldn’t care as long as their business was left alone.

“Well, many high-grade G.o.d Domains were even more atrocious than the Evil Spirit Race! It’s a given that they wouldn’t care about the Evil Spirit Race as they thought that what the Evil Spirit Race did was a mere child play.” Nian Ciyu said while shaking her head. Yi Tianyun thought about it and realised that it made perfect sense. Evil Spirit Race was only one race out of thousands in the universe! 

There were bound to be other races that would commit more repulsive behaviours than the Evil Spirit Race! In the G.o.d Domain’s world, the strong were always respected! It was the hard truth!

“It seems we have to take care of the Evil Spirit Race ourselves!” Yi Tianyun said with an exasperated sigh. 

“Take me with you, I will help you destroy them!” Nian Ciyu said as she took out her Spirit s.h.i.+p. She was ready to go wherever Yi Tianyun wanted.

“No! Did you think I wouldn’t be able to defeat them on my own?” Yi Tianyun said as he smiled at Nian Ciyu. He had already killed so many Evil Spirit Race cultivators before that Yi Tianyun didn’t think he would lose to them!

“I think you should have no problem, but you would be struggling if a powerful Heaven Monarch or even a G.o.d Monarch appeared! But the Evil Spirit Race won’t make a move on the Human Race for no reason, will they?” Nian Ciyu said as she wondered what the Evil Spirit Race might do to Yi Tianyun in the past. Nian Ciyu was confident in her own skill as she could handle one of the Slaughter G.o.d Divine Generals on her own back in the Slaughter G.o.d Tower. 

Even so, Yi Tianyun was way more powerful than she might be, which was also why Yi Tianyun didn’t want her to come as she might hinder Yi Tianyun’s movement there!

“It doesn’t matter for now. I will attend the G.o.d Domain’s war of Ascension, and this problem with the Evil Spirit Race should be dealt with later!” Yi Tianyun said solemnly. For now, all he ought to focus on was levelling up his cultivation base.

“You still have time to test for the Bone Age. Most of the partic.i.p.ants are already there, you may be the only one left!” Nian Ciyu said as she remembered that Yi Tianyun still had to partic.i.p.ate in the War of Ascension.

“Is there a test to partic.i.p.ate?” Yi Tianyun said confusedly. 

“Yes, they have to see how long you’ve already lived in this universe to determine whether you can partic.i.p.ate or not. I believe the limit is around 1.000 years! If you have lived more than that, you’re not allowed to partic.i.p.ate in the War of Ascension, but joining as one of their disciples shouldn’t be a problem. 

“1.000 years? Do I look like a 1.000 years old to you?” Yi Tianyun said weirdly. 

“Well, others might think that you are an old man considering that your power is extraordinary!” Nian Ciyu said teasingly. 

“This is tough.” Yi Tianyun said with a smile on his face. “But the flow of time in G.o.d Domain and Mortal Domain is quite different. How do they calculate one’s age?” Yi Tianyun wondered.

“It is calculated based on the time of the place the test is taken. But now that you haven’t shown yourself on the test site for so long, people are starting to think that you are avoiding it!” Nian Ciyu said without so much thought.

Nian Ciyu then told Yi Tianyun to follow him, and she brought Yi Tianyun to the test site. Yi Tianyun noticed that the test site didn’t seem like anything special, just a place to gather around. 

“The cultivators are lining up to take the bone age test. This place is no longer just Heavenly Edict Divine Territory, but already considered G.o.d Domain’s War of Ascension’s territory.” Nian Ciyu said, explaining the place to Yi Tianyun. Every G.o.d Domain that partic.i.p.ated in the War of Ascension had to set aside some of their lands as the test area. 

The executor of the War of Ascension would come to each G.o.d Domain that partic.i.p.ated and conducted the test themselves. This way, there was no way for the G.o.d Domain partic.i.p.ant could cheat their way inside the War of Ascension. This way, the partic.i.p.ants who were deemed too old to join the War of Ascension would be selected as a disciple if they had already pa.s.sed the requirements set by the executor.

Once they were selected as the disciple, they would become subject to severe punishment as they had already cheated the War of Ascension rules. Nevertheless, this was also the reason why the G.o.d Domain spent money to hire a strong cultivator to partic.i.p.ate on their behalf in the War of Ascension.
