Ji Nanfeng's mind wandered back to Mo Lixin's diary. In that diary, she mentioned the lack of warmth and light in her darkest days.

He never helped her walk out of the darkness that invaded her, never helped her up. Thinking about, he found the issue, but it was too late. He somehow… Somehow grew to resent pouring his heart out, resented opening himself.

He sighed and looked at Mo Lixin. A smile crept up the corner of his lips and looked at the beautiful woman sitting on the ground. Her face blushed a tinge of red due to the cold weather.

“Lixin…”

Thinking of something, he leaned over and put his coat over Xu Qingman. She fully dressed for the occasion and her she seemed cold. Ji Nanfeng knew this woman was important to his wife so it'd be best he makes sure she's taken care of.

20 minutes later.

“Third Brother, if I come over and see that you're alright while you call me as if it's in an emergency, I'll run you over to death!”

A low-key and luxurious Rolls Royce vehicle stopped at the foot of Ji Nanfeng. The vehicle door opened and a sultry man in pink regal suit appeared. Ignoring the clothing, the man itself was of an otherworldly appearance.

“Yunting, bring this girl to the hotel and make sure she gets sobered up.” Ji Nanfeng paid no heed to the man's questionable clothing and said directly what needed to be said.

“Oh! She looks good! If this girl is good-looking and you're interested in her, I, Gan Yunting, will help you. Oh, wait, this girl in your arms is even better looking!”

Ji Nanfeng frowned, lips tight. “This is your sister-in-law and that girl… Let's just say that you better put away your bad thoughts.”
